I love Luccas.Been going there for 50+ years.Their macaroni salad is worth going out of our way for.Love to get sandwiches made fresh,and buy lunch meats!! The staff are very fast and the owner is extra nice.He was closing and opened back up for me,so nice.My husband really wanted Luccas that day,I can't Thank him enough!!
This is one of my favorite sandwich places to visit in town. The people are always nice and patient and the food is good. As with many things covid has been a disruption in resources and it was noticed in what was missing in their selection of extras.The best benefit I have enjoyed is finding products you can't always find in a grocery store.quindi mangia e divertiti

Best Italian deli in Castro Valley! Love their Dutch crunch especially, but their sauces and entrees have me coming back too!
I usually pass the CV on Sundays but fortunately came back on a Saturday while they were open. Same great staff...same great deli and selections. Bought 2 huge garlic cheese spreads to hold out til I get back. That spread comes from the goddesses.

Lucas deli in Castro Valley is the absolute best sandwich deli in town. They sell other things like premade pastas and potato salad, tuna fish salad. They have a wide selection of refrigerated drinks as well.

Probably the best Deli in Castro Valley. My go to place for some great sandwiches in their lovely Dutch crunch bread. Two favorites here are the cheese and chicken salad sandwiches. Highly recommend as the bread and vegetables are always fresh.
