Great place to chill and have brunch!
A real Bakery with all sorts of fancy pastry. A real butcher with nice cuts on display and specialty meats available. A small but well stocked organic grocery. A well known spice shop. A brunch restaurant with a nice beer selection. Sushi. Outdoor seating.Only downside is that they are not open particularly early or late. Check the hours for the shop(s) you are interested in.
I watched this place while it was being built several years ago and finally went inside and I loved it! Old town feeling with organic groceries, healing gems and powders and crystals..oh my! Truly loved it!
So glad to see a mixed use store in Castro Valley. You can shop,sip and eat here. Food is good, pours are tasty and items to browse are nice. Cannot wait until they grow and open to their full extent. My new happy hour!
Brand new place. It's beautiful!!! Live music, organic grocery store & various vendors selling plants, art work etc. Also outdoor seating. Very cool!
Bakery incredible. Spices are wow! I pick up bread daily. I and out. Wonderful.
Extremely good quality food, very trendy vibe. Has a wine basement and Mexican takeout on top floor. All very expensive. Cuts of meat and fish all run over $20lb.

OMG I am in Love with their bakery items specifically the chocolate filled croissants.The inside is perfect If you put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Chocolate is perfectly melted, even if you do not heat it up it's still soft compared to others.In side this building you have more than just the bakery.So be prepared to look around.
So many cute and quality shops within. Parking is pretty reasonable.I will need to explore more of the shops but I am familiar with the market and the cannery Cafe. The market has a good variety of things you won't find at larger super markets, including a range of spices, specialty cheses and drinks.The cannery is a great little restaurant that does dine in and take out. We loved their food when they were in Hayward and are very happy they are even closer to us now.
