CHULA PLEASE!! No, it’s not a negative post but a very special post! I am an IHOP fan and I lived right above an IHOP , you will see me there 52 times in the year! My husband and I are visiting in Carson for his niece’s graduation party, staying with another cousin who lives in same building where IHOP is. I was greeted instantly, escorted to my table. Mark, my waiter came, greeted me with a smile, ordered my food, got my food. By the way, ordered 55+ Ride n Shine. So, I needed a cholula… waived to a waiter (I missed to get his name?) but to shorten my story… I saw him talking to 2 waiters & bus guy pointing to my direction, finally another bus guy walked over with my cholula bottle! This was the most heartfelt Customerservice I’ve ever seen!??? THANK YOU IHOP TEAMMATES ??? everyone working this shift has each other’s back!!!
2 stars only because if you go for kids' meals, the portions are decent...Now for the negative...i hadn't been to IHOP since before covid and decided to go with my family...I wish I would've taken pictures...I was used to the decadent, over the top pancake assortments and a wide variety of menu options...nope, everything was basic...no more fun, sweet tooth, fanciful menu..sure, they had cheesecake pancakes, but not salted caramel drizzled cheesecake with layers of whip cream! So we ordered & the food finally came...the portion sizes were tiny! It felt like honey I shrunk the pancakes! IHOP, what happened?!?! The pancakes couldn't have been more than 5" diameter...the prices were about the same, but they've skimped on portions...overall, I was disappointed and don't plan to ever return...farewell IHOP
I felt like we were being rushed by the server. 5min after our food arrived she brought the check and then kept hovering. My daughter was wearing "happy birthday" tiara and shirt... and she did not acknowledge her. I know that's not her job, but how miserable do u have to be to not tell a little girl "happy bday". My daughter is the one who mentioned this. The food was not that great either. Next year for her bday.. we are going to dennys.
No recently went to IHOP after Not going for a couple years. I remember it was a great destination for breakfast food, always packed, food was delicious, staff was nice. I was really disappointed on my last recent visit though.. a big difference from back then. It was empty, staff was still nice but meh, but the food was the disappointment for me. It didn't suck but it wasn't good either . For the 100 bucks I spent there was most definitely not worth it spending it there.. I for sure not even close got my money's worth at IHOP .
Food was great, service was great. One little thing is that a baby was crying so loud i couldn’t really enjoy my food but next time i’ll make sure not to take my wife so she can stay with him ?
Staff vas very polite and attentive, food was great, everything was clean. Food is very affordable.
Love the Hearty n Nut pancakes and non sugar syrup for diabetics. Low sugar, low carbs, and sugar. Kudos for your healthy menu
Diana our waitress was pleasant and very attentive to us. So I tipped a nice tip due to i don't do if they don't deserve it. Started my day off on a Great Note. ?to IHOP on Carson/Avalon.
I am going to say it just like it was the t-bone streak is like a pancake it was so thin and for $17.99 it was embarrassing....The eggs where so so and the hash browns where not cooked to perfection...The coffee was good...and the menu is over priced.. Norms is much better and I will never eat any IHOP again I promise you....
Worst IHOP ever went around 5:30 PM Sunday 1/09/22 soda machine wasn’t working they had no soda availableNo chicken at all this was the worst experience ever my daughter was turning 22yr and she wanted IHOP this was so embarrassing for our family.I can’t believe that IHOP runs this kind of service they let us know when we already sat down to order they should have a sign in the front to let us know everything that they didn’t have.I hate you ihop.
