Good food, great service. A little crowded and small. Good bar.
Very disappointed - although lamb shank was falling off the bone- the oily bland brown gravy was not helped by more salt and few uncooked mushrooms. The side vegetables - broccoli and can string beans - were overcooked, mushy dull green. The cropped tomatoes on the Greek salad were spoiled and should have been thrown out. There are better Mediterranean/Greek restaurants in Sacramento than this one. Dining area is in the bar - not a very good dining experience for conversation.
I ordered Chicken Souvlaki...D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S!!! It was served with mixed vegetables and rice pilaf, and a side of tzatziki (yogurt based sauce). It was outstanding!
This place can be loud and a little bit crazy but the owners (Marko and Ronya) and Rhino are great. The drinks are strong and the food is awesome and everyone knows your name. See you Friday night!

100/100 this little hole in the wall is great. Seems very small from the outside but opens up once you are in. The owner is a local and has been here for quite some time. Greek food options are hot and fresh, and they even have a really killer burger which I got for my kids. Will definitely be back soon.
Yianni's feels like an old Italian mob bar with a classic aesthetic and the staff all seem like they're family. Then of course there's the food. The lamb is what they are known for and rightfully so. Grilled perfection, never gamey and perfectly seasoned. They also show this same treatment to their vegetables and rice. They have an excellent cocktail menu and a dessert that I wish I would have tried... Baklava ice cream but no dessert for this time. Next time for sure though. Excellent service and a very welcoming environment. A true hidden gem.
