I've heard about Skip's for years, but have never been. Today we were in the mood for burgers so we made it a destination. We both had the Western. They were cooked to just under medium so the burgers were juicy. The bacon and onion rings were crunchy and the bun was soft. It was definitely a 4 napkin burger. They should come with wet wipes. We also had the Mac Puppies which were hot and crunchy on the outside and rich and gooey cheeseiness on the inside. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was not only worth the trip, but definitely a new favorite for us.
Three of our neighbors recommended Skip's to us; we ate there today for the first time and will definitely become regulars there. The bacon cheeseburger I ate and the chopped salad my mom had were both fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, and Tristan, the young man working the front of the shop, is an excellent employee: hardworking, very attentive and has a lovely personality. We passed on our views of him to the owner and he concurred and was pleased. Glad we live close by; we're already planning to return soon.
The food is really good. Excellent customer service. I would like to see bigger portions but what you get is really good.
I genuinely don’t know how Skip’s could be anything less than 5 stars. I’ve been a happy customer for over 7 years now and I know only a handful other souls in this life cut from that cloth. His work ethic is absolute, inspiring, and tireless. The food from salads to burgers are in my opinion; delectable. It could be slammed to the wall, you could be the only person in the building. Skip AND his employees still provides the same impeccable top tier service day in and day out and year after year. If you find yourself in Sacramento VISIT SKIPS KITCHEN!
This place is hands down my favorite burger joint in Sacramento! I live an hour away and only get here once or twice a year but see you're coming but the proprietor skip still greets me by name I feel like I am dining in his personal residence. He meets, greets, and serves customers like they were sitting at his dining room table. That, along with the amazing food and presentations, make this a worthwhile place to partake. I am a Burger Guy and this is one of my favorite places on the planet.
I love Skip's Kitchen. The sandwiches and salads are delicious. I haven't won a free meal yet when I pick my card, but I'll keep trying. Today's pastrami sandwich was top notch
My burger was so juicy. I got the mushroom burger and he got the western. Our food was delicious. It was seasoned well and they even messed up on part of my order and quickly fixed it. My husband got their shake not pictured and he drink it with in minutes. Go here for great food and service.

This small place on the border of Arden and Carmichael has impressive food, everything is made fresh, their burger and sandwiches are really great, the fries are amazing too, and onion rings from this place is a must try.The service is fast and they let you pick a card from a deck and if you get a joker, your food is free.The vibe of the place is also pretty good, and they have both indoor and outdoor dining option.
