Best in the area. Wouldn't visit any other 24/7 joint in the vicinity. Got the Carne asada burrito and quesadilla. Loved the burrito and it was HUGE! I didn't love the quesadilla as it was a bit greasy.
Have visited this location on several occasions and food was ok but this last visit 6/1 ordered 2 torta one carnitas and one carna asada and both sandwiches were very dry and the meat was so tough unable to eat either sandwiches. Will not be going to this establishment anymore.
They're great. Better than adalbertos in many ways. I give them 3 stars because when I ask for extra red and extra green salsa, they leave me with 2 of each. That is not enough. I've asked on 3 occasions for extra salsa and do not receive it, and for that I'm here complaining in this review.
Not bursting with authentic Mexican flavor i was hoping for. I've eaten here and many other locations each time hoping I would get the Mexican flavors I was craving. Each time its like I knew what too expect kind of like when you go too McDonald's, nothing amazing just food. But what gets me is the prices, if you are going too overcharge for food at least give it some flavor. And like many other Mexican fast food if you order let's say a taco it comes with everything except what you would expect for instance if you want sour cream its a dollar and twenty five cents each per small taco not to mention its waterd down, tomatoes seventy-five cents. All said and done a crispy Carne asada taco with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, onion, Pico de Gallo, cilantro and salsa will cost you around seven dollars. And don't even think about avocado because that will set you back another dollar and fifty cents per taco. Like I said I've eaten here multiple times hoping it cure my craving I even went as far as stopping at my local grocery store and picking up a avocado, tomatoe and a small container of sour cream. Lol, doing that when buying four tacos saved me about twelve dollars.Another popular item they have are the Carne Asada Fries? Don't get me wrong I love Carne Asada fries but from any California Burrito I've been to i give them all the same rating and review a 2/10 . There is no focus on the main ingredient in the dish which too me is the fries. Second the meat of choice which i said before is bland. I know that the fries are frozen but most fast food joints can serve a crispy frozen fry, California Burrito can not. So in the end you get soggy fries with bland meat. It's like mush.Whether you do take out, dine in or go through the drive thru there are tip jars every where. Too me this always buts me back. Not only was I over charged but if I went through the drive thru exactly who am I tipping?Its my recommendation that if you can find a real authentic Mexican restaurant go there instead. Honestly it will take about the same time it does as the drive thru at one of these plus I promise the service and the food will be a thousand times better and they will give you a reason to tip.
This place has disappointed me from a year ago now they get orders wrong even if your the only person in line or their food tastes a day old and not fresh their Chile Verde burrito was gross and had no Chile Verde sad but won't be coming anymore update so my bf decided to come here and get me nachos and what kind of freaking nachos have cold cheese meat is cold and all I see is sour cream even my kidwere disgusted
Love that they're open 24 hrs. Nice people. I stop in once every week or two after work. Good stuff!
I mostly come here for the fresh juice tbh but I also love the shrimp quesadilla. They incorporate more grilled veggies here than, say, Adalberto's / Aldanberto's etc. It is worth it to me(i love grilled veg). I just wish there was one closer to my home or work.
I just recently tried California Burrito and im now addicted, there food is amazing, great variety and very friendly staff. I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and I eat there at least twice a week, sometimes twice a day.
Good homestyle Mexican food, not fast food, but has a drive thru. Outdoor seating is put away for the winter. Food could have a little more seasoning
First things first the food is great, however, for the past like year or so every time we've decide to get food from here they mess up our order by adding stuff that we asked to be removed so make sure to check your food in case you had something be removed.
