If I die and go to heaven, this is the food they would be serving there. The people were nice and attentive. The FOOD. I have never had such perfect Eggplant Parmesan anywhere.

This was our second time here. We feel like we are in Italy in the charming outdoor patio. We had Calamari, salad and Eggplant parmigiana. Everything was great. We were able to sit in the patio under a heater even though we did not have a reservation. Enjoy

Excellent pizza -- we got three pizzas for takeout for our first night in Carmel -- all good, but I judged the "margherita" as outstanding. Service was good.

We were a party of 6 and we had a reservation. It took close to 20 minutes before the server came to take our orders. We had a fairly long wait until the 1 dishes came to the table . . . those of us who ordered salad were content, but those of us who ordered soup (bisque) were disappointed because the soup was barely lukewarm & had sat so long it had a skin on it. After those dishes were taken away, we had to wait another 45 minutes before the main courses were delivered . . . 4 out of 6 were cold or lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were cold, and the pasta with the salmon was so cool that the sauce had already started to congeal. The salmon was barely warm. The ravioli & chicken dishes were also not warm enough. Only the eggplant & shellfish had a semblance of warmth. The drinks we got ourselves at the bar were good, however. The inside seating area was so loud you could not be heard across the table (conversation was virtually impossible) & the server (when he finally would make an appearance) had a difficult time hearing us & we also had a hard time hearing him. Granted the restaurant was busy. However, I think more servers were in order. Overall, we were dissatisfied & very disappointed.

Not fancy but good quality. We had a cozy table by the fireplace. Started with the wine flights and salumi, then chose our wines and had the fried calamari and the beet and goat cheese salad. They actually do the fried food very well - not oily at all, just crispy on the outside (and not overcooked inside). Friendly service.

We remembered having a delicious meal here 15 years ago, But not tonight. The food was horrible. The bruschetta was soggy and the tomatoes tasteless. The Caesar salad had no dressing and didn’t seem to have fresh lettuce. The fish soup needed hot pepper flakes and the pasta needed grated cheese. Service was slow because they were so crowded. Our server was trying his best. Do not go there for good Italian food.

We loved Little Napoli. The weather was unexpected balmy in November, and we had the most lovely evening dining al fresco in the gorgeous courtyard. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. It is the sort of "New York style" American Italian food, but very good version of this. Portions were very generous! We ordered the garlic bread, meatball lollipops, steamed clams and "Jackie O" pasta. Everything was delicious. Our server was wonderful and had excellent recommendations. This is now a "must-do" for Carmel.

We sat outside at night by a heat lamp and the space looked like we were in Italy. GF enjoyed the atmosphere. We had burrata for an appetizer; quite good. I had the Bolognese pasta with boar, steak and something else and it was quite good. She had the lobster/crab ravioli and just so-so. Drinks were good.

Service was very poor. Poorly trained server who blamed the bar tender for everything got out table and the two tables next to us. And when the check was delivered for a part of two, there was an 18% automatic gratuity stamped and added on. Ridiculous. Very inappropriate and this was supposed to be a Triple D visited restaurant.

We had a lot of great dinners during our stay in Carmel and this was our least favorite. The menu was standard Italian food, nothing special. We ordered the garlic goat cheese appetizer and a spicy pizza. The pizza was decent flavors, but extremely greasy. Grease was dripping down my arm just trying to pick up a slice so had to use a fork and knife. The goat cheese garlic appetizer was alright. It was pricey considering they skimp you on both the bread and the goat cheese. Additionally I think our waitress was overwhelmed because she brought us the wrong food and seemed confused when we told her we didn’t order that. Then it took nearly 30 minutes to get our appetizer so clearly she never put in our order. Nobody apologized for the wait or even addressed it. After about 25 minutes some random employee brought us a basket of bread and butter but no explanation as to why. I’m assuming because they messed up our order. The meal ended up being soooo much bread. It was very heavy and I left feeling miserably full. The best thing was the fun cocktail menu with unique prosecco Italian drinks.
