This is an awesome restaurant. We have brought many of our friends here for lunch or dinner and we have always had truly excellent meals. The food is innovative, fresh, and flavorful. Some of my favorites are the homemade porcini mushroom ravioli, the artichoke with a truly unique black aioli, and the bread pudding. My husband had the lamb special last night and loved it. The service has also been excellent on every occasion - both friendly and professional. We always feel very welcome and well taken care of.

First experience a bit disappointing. Limited entree choices, and wish we could have been outside. Waiter very nice but hard to understand. Raspberry/lemon tart for dessert was delicious!

Consistent excellent customer service and delicious food!!!

Great dinner starting with the lobster bisque, then the mushroom ravioli and great dessert too.

This is one of the best restaurants in Monterey county. Every time we come here, I'm stunned that it isn't packed. This is a relatively new restaurant and is possibly one of Carmel's best culinary secrets. Still, though I'd like to keep the secret, I encourage more people to try it. Every person we have ever brought here has been delighted by their meal and remarked on the reasonableness of the prices. An unusual comment in Carmel. The grilled artichoke with black garlic aioli is one of or appetizer favorites. Last night we shared the local greens with shaved apple to start - a light refreshing salad with a banyuls vinaigrette. My husband had the lamb special, which he loved. Two of us had the handmade porcini mushroom ravioli, which is my favorite pasta dish in Carmel. The fourth in our party had the Jidori chicken which came with a lovely medley of vegetables and flavors. And the bread pudding is not to be missed for dessert. If you haven't yet, do try this little gem of a restaurant!

It was difficult to find because it’s on a small side street and not on the Main Street given as it’s address or googles directions. We and another couple were the only ones in the restaurant from 6:30 - 8:30pm. My ravioli and the shrimp/scallops risotto were very good. However those that ordered the salmon and the schnitzel were disappointed. We will not return. Why are restaurants now charging for bread on the table?!?! It’s a turn-off to go to those restaurants - big disappointment and nickel-diming you to death. Go back to being gracious dining hosts, please.

Friendly local spot. Off the beaten track so not many people. Hope they get put on the map. Friendly service and nice food.

The food and service were amazing! Will definitely go back.

Wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch
