Good wines and interesting history of the owner. A nice break and rest to get off your feet from walking Carmel. Small tasting room, some tasty wines, a little pretentious.
This adorable shop in Carmel by the Sea, had room for our party of 8, a friendly hostess and a lot of history of Silvestri, known for music in many many well known films. Locals stopped in to pickup wine for dinner. They have a reasonable wine club and waived fees if you bought some. Oh, and their Pinot is really good!
Definitely enjoyed visiting this tasting room. It’s also cool to read about Alan Silvestri.
Amazing wine! Definitely try the Barbera, it was fantastic! Richard was great, super knowledgeable about his wines and just an overall fun guy!
Such a great tasting room and the guy who was behind the bar knew everything about wine. Such a great conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. Their Syrah was extraordinary!
Chatty host and a great owner
You have many choices in Carmel to wine taste but this is my personal favorite especially if you want to try some good Pinot noir. Enjoyed theo Syrah too. Francisco there is a great host!
Great Tasting Room. This particular Saturday before Easter, the charming young hostesses, provided Salami, Cheesr and Crackers......As well as some delicious home made cookies.!! The wines were delicious and we'll be buying more!! Also, great music by Silvestri and the ladies gave us all the history. One of our more enjoyable events of our weekend.
