Everything we had here was pretty subpar. Clam chowder was more like potato and flour chowder. Mussels still fresh but zero taste. Salad had wayyy old cucumbers that were translucent inedible and lettuce leaves were wilted. Fries were bomb though and the fish market looked fresh. Would not come again unfortunately; had high hopes for this place.
Every trip to Carmel over the last 5+ years we always stop at the Sea Harvest for lunch or dinner. The food & service are excellent and consistent. The Crab Louie salad with Dungeness, when in season, is a must.
Staff very friendly and informative!Very clean and freshOrdered sra bass grilled dinner..superb! Melt in your mouth! Hubby ordered sea food combination platter... excellent!French bread was amazing
Great food and great service! Visiting with my family and had very attentive staff! Half the price of restaurants in downtown Carmel without all the attitude! Will go back!
Went there for the first time on April 2019 and just went back here today April 3, 2022! I will describe that day’s experience! It was me and my family (5 of us) who just drove from Bixby Creek Bridge. Our server was Juan and he is an awesome server! We got iced tea and coke as drinks. We ordered clam chowder, fish and chips, calamari, and steamed clam as appetizers, as well as the already served bread. We all ate seafood fettucini as our main course and we ordered two slices of cheesecake! Juan and the staff are all very friendly, the food is delicious, and the outdoor seating is pleasant!!! Will come back here again next time for sure!
Looking for fresh fish dinner. We had Grill Sea Bass an Sword Fish both very good. also had 1/2 dozen oysters. Also fresh an good. Looks like Fish an Chips is a big seller there.
Family friendly atmosphere, great food, and reasonable prices!Parking was easy and they happily accommodated our big group on a Saturday night. The mahi and snapper were both fine but nothing special. The fish and chips was excellent. Our kids happily split crab cakes and chicken strips. The clam chowder was delicious! Portions were generous. Plus the service was friendly! All around a great evening and I would recommend for families looking for a casual atmosphere
Great find! Wine selection was wonderful. Chowder was delicious. The shrimp and crab sandwich was delicious! Highly recommended!
had the crab louie and fish & chips. The food was prepared and ready for take out promptly; probably less than ten minutes. Great job. The fish & chips were very good. The only thing was that they provided no ketchup for the fries. The crab louie was a major disappointment. Two 1/4 hard as apples tomatoes, two sliced cucumber slices, 1/2 boiled egg and lots of crab on a bed of lettuce. I was disappointed in the crab in that there were no pieces of crab but rather just the bits of crab. It was like all of the leftovers from the commercial process of crab for the restaurants. Very disappointing in that this is a combination of the restaurant and a fish market where I would have thought the quality of the crab would have been stellar. Not in this case. Thus a bit overpriced for what you get. Won't order the Crab Louie again. Also will ask for additional thousand island dressing (they provide two little containers full and three would have been better).
Nice bustling little restaurant/seafood market. Seating inside and outside entrance. Fully stocked case with many varieties of fish filets and other seafood.I came just cuz craving chowder. Price for chowder was very reasonably affordable given the uppity location. $12 for a quart of chowder. Chowder was thick and tasty but unfortunately skimpy on the clams. Rarely bit into clams. That’s just shady. Otherwise the place is cute and seafood looked fresh.Don’t forget to grab loaf of french bread to eat with chowder.
