We stumbled on this place our first morning and bought coffees, hot chocolate for the kids and a box of pastries. We were in Heaven. We went back for lunch one day as we wanted something light and I was in heaven with the fresh artichoke Tartine. It was the best. I am a Northern Californian who loves fresh artichokes and I am dreaming of that tartine. My husband had the turkey sandwich and said it was an excellent sandwich and our daughter the grilled cheese. We then shared the chocolate hazelnut cookie and it was perfect.

We were thrilled to find a DELICIOUS VEGAN pizza here!!!!!! SO. GOOD. We would definitely order again. Vegan cheese, beyond meat, artichokes, and more! Friendly staff as well.

Delicious food and drinks, friendly staff and great location. The food is always fresh, menu changes just enough to keep you on your toes - you can order a favorite or try something new. One of my go-to spots, it never disappoints!

I love the offerings this cafe has. Great selection of morning pick me ups, fresh made daily pastries and they even offer wine with their artisan pizzas. This will be our morning must stop when staying in Carmel.

Good coffee place with delicious pastries. Usually pretty fast service.

40% off for items in display before closing. Vegan pizza is great!

Fantastic bakery with fluffly bread pizzas, sandwiches, and an assortment of pastries. Had a warm "coffee shop" vibe in the front, with ample seating in the back as well as plenty of outdoor seating.FOOD:Fig and proscuitto pizza (5 out of 5): Really fluffy dough with an interesting mix of sweet and savory from the fig and proscuitto. Being a bakery, I think the dough was the center of the show, and it really was a good fluffy warm dough.Heirloom artichoke (4.5 out of 5): Cheesier than the other pizza, with a good rich flavor. Again, the dough is sort of the main focus of the pizza, but that wasn't a bad thing since it was done so well.Kouign amann (5 out of 5): If you have not had this dessert before, it is worth trying! It was my first hearing this (pronounced like Queen Aman) and I'm glad I tried it. It has flakey layers like a croissant but shaped more like a muffin, with a sweet fruit preserve filling. It's dubbed "the fattiest pastry in all of Europe" so you know it's good.

The cheese pizza for kids was tasty. As was the Margarita pizza but it came without tomatoes. However, if you are of the mind to order a veggie pizza, you can forget about it. Actually, when you review the menu, you will immediately notice that the dining options are quite limited here. The pizzas are quite pricey but they are quite tasty. Service is pretty minimal. You order at a counter come, they deliver the food to your table and then that is that. The food was ok but we will probably not return here.

Great place for pastries & tasty coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a lot of room here so be prepared to grab & go. There are a few seats, but not many.

The staff were super-friendly. The almond croissant and GF carrot muffin were our favorites after making it our breakfast routine for 3 days during our vacation. It was relaxing to even use the wooden stair platform area to chat and knit for an hour.
