I had dinner here one night and enjoyed it so much I came back for breakfast a couple of days later. The menu has a variety of dishes from around the globe. I found the Asian dishes most appealing.
Unusual menu offering delicious food with lots of vegetables. All beautifully cooked and presented! And served hot but not over cooked! Perfect!
We decided to eat here after walking past and looking at TripAdvisor reviews. The restaurant itself is nice and welcoming although the tables are very packed in - we were privy to the conversations of both tables next to us and practically bumping elbows! We had the crab cakes to start which were nice but we have had much better. However both our main courses - the seafood pasta and the rack of lamb - were excellent. I have never had as much fish in a seafood pasta. Overall it was a very nice dinner, albeit on the pricier and more pretentious end.
As bad as it can get: poor service from beginning to the end. So bad we decided to not even look at desserts or coffee ! Food eatable but nothing specifically outstanding.
Worst service ever, very poor service had to take care of the waiter more than the waiter take care of us and he was rude to us.
We have been going to this restaurant for years and have always had a good experience even when it changed ownership a few years ago. So it was a natural choice for our dinner group of family and friends the night before my son’s wedding. Even though we had made reservations two weeks ahead we had to wait 20 minutes for our table. Then upon seating us the hostess informed us she had ordered appetizers for our table. We were pleased thinking it was done as an apology for our wait only to find we were charged for the appetizers that we had not ordered. The service, though attentive was slow. We had too wait a long time for our meals and then again for a few desserts. The food, as always was delicious. We will not choose this restaurant again for a large group.
Each of the four of us ordered a different meal. All of us thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. The service was understanding considering the town of Carmel is in the middle of the summer tourist season
This is a good fusion restaurant. They have a good selection of Asian food as well as steak and fish. Their drinks are really delicious, and their wait staff is helpful and on top of it.The food and drinks are a little pricey, but it feels reasonably priced compared to the restaurants that are nearby.
