Amazing gem of a place!
Having had the opportunity to have dined at both Le Souffle and Le Recamier in Paris on a number of occasions, I believe Le Souffle in Carmel is more than their equal! Lisa, Beca and chef Ivan Samchenko have provided the most intimate and pleasurable dining experience each time we've visited. In a word "Excellent"!
I have now visited Le Souffle twice and it has been amazing every time! The team is friendly and great to chat with and the soufflés and appetizers are incredible. We like to split our soufflés and apps and get a variety of the 2 and 3 course. Great spot for an intimate date night, the decor is effortlessly beachy-french chic dining room at a Carmel home. We've been coming to Le Souffle since it opened in 2020 - and it never ceases to delight me, the arrival of the souffles, so high and puffy, yet light. Everything about le Souffle is perfection - the food is outstanding, even if you choose a meat dish over a souffle. Their seasonal specialties like the bouillabaise or beef tartar appetizers inevitably are the best we've ever had. And the service - as wonderful as the food. le Souffle is more than a restaurant. It is a dining experience not to be missed!

Le Soufflé impressed us with simplistic decor, romantic atmosphere and friendly staff with personal friendly service. The food was absolutely amazing. From appetizers to savory soufflés to sweet soufflés- every bite was delicious and every dish was unique.
Anniversary.
They need to change the menu more often. We would go more often if they did. Perhaps a weekly special?
