Don't recommend going here. There is barely any flavor on the tacos at ALL! The tacos were not fresh at all. Who ever says there tacos are good are clearly lying. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

The best thing about Island Taco is it's affordability in the expensive Carmel area. It is located in a small shopping center with a CVS, Safeway and some eclectic shops. We stopped here while on a road trip through some of the coastal towns. It was not the best I have ever had, but the portions were decent and it did not break the bank.
The food was delicious and the service was really friendly a good place for a perfect dinner.

Most decent tacos and burritos. Food was plentiful, and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place with visiting Carmel Crossroads. Courteous, and friendly staff.

Yeah I have to say this place was really a bust. Ordered three street tacos for $9.99. Got my food, and it wasn't even Luke warm...mind you I was in the parking lot, and it was only 11 am when I ordered it, so it should've been nice and hot. Aside from frigid food, I've never had a single shell street taco so they were pretty flimsy. Dry meat with, absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I do not recommend.

Our first time there. The service was top notch, very fast, very friendly. The food was piping hot like I like but just very bland, no seasoning at all. Very disappointing ?
