My favorite Italian restaurant in Carmel, small menu, but everything is great
Extremely overpriced for what they offer, the menu is very limited. There are many other places in the area that are way superior.
Excellent and authenticðð
Lovely courtyard, exuberant host, attentive wait staff, and outstanding pasta ragu. The ravioli special with fig, ham, sage in a bechamel sauce was also delicious. Salad Piedmontese was enjoyed by all. Tiramisu was nicely presented in a coffee cup. The pistachio ice cream had excellent flavor. We enjoyed our whole experience.
We started with zucchini blossom which was not remarkable. We then had Ragu Napolentano and Ravioli Al Fichi E Asiago. Both were delicious. We took Torta Al Limoncello and Bomboloni Al Cioccolata home and enjoyed both with a glass of wine later in the evening. Service was great and ambience nice in outdoor garden. Highly recommend dining in this special place.
What an experience.... Chef Giuseppe served us an 8-course handmade pasta meal for our honeymoon. We arrived very late in the evening and were accommodated with utmost hospitality. We tasted the various pasta dishes late into the night while the crew cleaned up. For dessert we had a cannoli with strawberry sauce. Cannot recommend chef and his crew's cooking enough, as well as the hospitality.
Food was amazing!! Service was a little slow but they let us know up front that they were short staffed so we knew what we were walking into. Overall, very cute restaurant with amazing food and the staff that was there were all very polite and helpful.
This is a highly overrated, over- priced tourist spot in Carmel. There are many more reasonable restaurants in the area that serve more impressive food.
Great food, excellent service. We will definitely be back.
Service was disgraceful. The âwaiterâ took over 15 minutes to greet us and we did not see him again until we had a question about our bill. The hostess did everything else - The quality of the food did not match the bill - very overpriced. With all the options in Carmel I regret stopping here to dine.
