A favorite restaurant in Carmel for many years, never fails to provide delicious food.

It was very good

Fantastic minestrone! Quinoa salad with salmon was delightful.

Sunday lunch get together with friends we were meeting in Carmel. I was referred here. We sat on the patio, table was slightly dirty and unset, the patio somewhat uninviting, but had a good reco for the pizza. Aperol Spritz ordered were flat. Gluten free pasta ordered wasn’t. Minestrone soup, cold when served. The server was also new and napkins / silverware came 5 mins after food. They were reasonable to comp most of the meal, but SO disappointed that we wasted this valuable time dealing with a bad experience.

We sat in ‘the sunroom’ which at 7:20pm had a direct glare into my husband’s eyes. The shades did not help. We switched places and I was ok with it for a short while until sun went down. My husband asked for pasta in place of his mashed potatoes. The serving was rediculous . Probably about 10 pieces of pasta if that. We were then charged for replacing the mashed potato. Our waitress was nice and very attentive. She took the charge off. They were out of the desserts we wanted on the menu. We ended up going elsewhere for dessert! The food was good but definitely overpriced for what we got. Anyways probably would not go here again.

Ordered the ravioli. 5 small ravioli for $25 not worth it. They were good but not special

The food and service were outstanding. The only thing that bothered me a little was that there was cold air coming in from somewhere so I had to put on my jacket to eat. We have eaten there more than once and I highly recommend it.l

We had a lovely meal and a fantastic breakfast the following morning.

This former gem has seen better days….tired is the best description. Service is like hometown buffet…asking for everything…never checking back..realize Covid hurt but close off the back of the dining room. Too much space for too few workers…manager spent entire time fixing espresso machine. Never saw one smile!!!!

Certain items are terribly overpriced- like sparkling water- $9 per bottle. Small pour (half a small glass) of dubonnet $14 (more than a full glass of wine). The calamari appetizer was just ok for $19. Big mistake ordering wine by the glass - Simple dinner for 4 with 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes came to $242 before adding a tip. We waited 20 minutes after our appetizer to get our dinner order in.
