The ambiance of a high end restaurant with the cuisine of frozen TV dinners. We arrived to a refined and charming ambiance only to be puzzled by the mash up of menu options, including the range of a hotdog to a filet mignon. We ordered French onion soup, which was clearly prepped, frozen, then thawed and thrown into the oven to cook. Also tried the "pork tacos" which included ground pork smothered in a glazed balsamic viniagretee and some kind of crema. The tacos were contained in what definitely wasn't any sort of flour or corn tortilla (uncooked or toasted). The staff and our server were very polite and attentive despite the cuisine. One relief was the comedy of watching our fellow diners have similar poor results with their dining choices for the evening. Our first red flag should've been the ample seating availability on a beautiful Friday night, despite other establishments having a wait. If the cuisine could even come halfway close to the charming ambiance and beautiful greenery you're surrounded in while dining, this place could easily be another Hotspot on a Friday night. But sadly they seem to be riding on the coat tails of a previous dining concept and prior high reviews. If you look now across all review platforms they're mixed at best. We left unhappy and looking elsewhere to satiate our evening hunger. Again though, the staff were a delight!
This restaurant is located downtown Carmel. They have a beautiful outdoor dining area that is dog friendly. We ordered their calamari and grilled artichoke Appetizers during lunch time and they were both delicious. The grilled artichoke came with a balsamic glaze and a Dijon flavored aoili. The calamari was as you would expect from the bay, lightly fried and served with tartar and cocktail sauce. I ordered the breaded chicken sandwich for lunch and cleaned my plate! It was served with a Sriracha mayo which wasn't too spicy, tomato and lettuce, with your choice of regular fries, garlic or truffle fries. My Husband ordered the rueben sandwich, it was also delicious, but a bit on the small side. The ranch dressing was obviously home made and had lots of fresh dill. A friend ordered the Carbonara pasta which was very rich and flavorful. The only Iced tea they have is sweetened and the strawberry lemonade was fantastic! The server was prompt and split the bill for us even though it was very busy.
Great food. We had the penne pasta and the chicken salad. The onion rings and garlic fries were wonderful. French onion soup looked great. We'll try it when we go back.Service was a little slow. Staff was pleasant.

This place is wonderful, casual with an upscale feel to it. The outdoor seating is marvelous and the menu is diverse enough to please most palettes. Food is decent as well, but the ambiance was the highlight for me. The best of all was that they had an excellent dog menu filled with plenty of tasty options. My little pup got the steak!
If you like dining out with your best friends, the patio is the best place to sit! The food is excellent, the service is excellent and they have several menu options for your canine companion. Don’t miss this place!!
