Great location. So close to Carmel restaurants/shops and Carmel Valley wineries. Love the scenic Quail Resort golf course. Resort is on 14th fairway.
Mediocre food and unprofessional service. Salmon over cooked and dry. Pasta OK. Definitely not a food destination.
Covey has a great location , easy to find, close to highways, with a lovely view of a lake and fountain, inside and outside. Service is friendly and comfortable, the food is delicious. My wagyu skirt steak was tender and flavorful, the beet salad one of the best, and sand dabs were lightly breaded the way I like them. I also enjoyed the brussel sprouts sauteed with bacon. Parking was easy. Good menus, never had a bad meal or drink here. I'm a local.
Our second visit to this restaurant. Loved our servers but one disappeared for a while due to a large group which was in an open, private room. That group of golfers was extremely loud at times to the point we couldn't hear each other talk at our table. The food was very good but wife's chicken was somewhat dry and my steak, which I asked to be cooked medium rare, came out medium well instead. Friend's pork chop was cooked perfectly and all apps were nicely done. Will return but hoping for a better experience next time.

Overall great, they seem to have had a hard time during COVID but are now bouncing back.
The service was remarkable. Only complaint was vodka gimlet was not made correctly. Bartender was forgiving to make better. Food was really good with a beautiful setting. The value is ok, a bit pricey with a la carte sides. This is a hidden gem in Carmel valley.
We had their Saturday special, steak and fries. It was very good. The best thing about the Covey and Edgars is the service. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. We felt it was a little too cool to sit outside, but we will definitely sit outside when the evenings start getting warmer. As usual, we had a good experience.
