Great food and drinks! It’s off the normal beaten path so not overcrowded and full of tourists. Plus the bartender, Josue, was great and served us despite us being in a room off-shoot of the bar.
Nice spot a couple of blocks from the Main Street. The place wasn’t busy when we visit. The bartender who helped us was polite and very friendly. We had Fish and Chips, Steak Salad and a couple of drinks. The food was terrific and plentiful. Service in point and the ambiance just what we needed after a long drive. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone who visits Carmel.
Great place to grab a drink. The Dock Ellis no-no is a GO-GO. LFG!The main bartender Asia is running the whole bar and restaurant by herself (for the most part). She's KILLIN' IT!Awesome busy local spot. We'll be back!
It was okay. Burger meat was decent, but not the best quality, for $19 I want quality meat on a quality bun. They do give you a ton of straw fries, again just okay quality. I'd rather have better quality and less. $7 for a Modelo. I don't buy single beers often so that might be normal, but dang. I think it's a $5 bottle in a restaurant setting, at most. The atmosphere is probably the appeal for the majority of the pub goers. Nice pub vibe.
Typical bar food with a cool atmosphere. Very clean, great location for a quick bite. Great service.
This is the best food I've had in Carmel. It's much more than a bar or tavern, the food is excellent and gastropub quality. Definitely try the burgers and save room for dessert. There's good booth seating and a bigger table with stools for large parties. Bring your friends!
Nice treat when you’re looking for good food at a reasonable price in Carmel!!“Friends” I would think would be a great description ??I had the Halibut Fish & Chips which were breaded & cooked perfectly! My wife had the Burratta Salad with a side of their Truffle Fries and she loved them both.Trust me, I spent 50 years in FoodService Distribution and everything was great!BTW, the 67-69 Music was an additional treat as well.??
Great service great meal! Only wish they’d had a vegetarian option. They put the game on for us Canadians which we really appreciated!
The food was always great. My visit in May 2022 left me feeling disappointed. The food was sub standard at best and the prices were, grossly, too high for the quality and quantity of the fare. I must say that the female bartender/server was very friendly. She was working non stop. The young man helping her was a joke. He made certain that everyone was aware that he was not happy working. It was obvious that he had no work ethic. After leaving Brophy's, I must admit that the home made smoked polish sausage, that I picked up at the grocery store down the street, was great.
We started with a couple of cocktails which were are unique and witty. The pretzel appetizer was huge! Perfect to share. All the food we had was great.
