It can't be beat.Come within two hours of opening or they might not have any food left! Cash only but there's a Chase bank just a few blocks down the road if you need it. It's a walk-up window only, so take your food to a bench nearby, the beach, or stuff your face in the car like heathens (this is what we do).And the owners are so kind. Without a doubt some of the best, if not the best sushi in San Diego. The quality consistently is outstanding. Their version of a tuna poke bowl is the best I've ever had anywhere.

This is family owned business that serves up love. The food is top quality and served with a gracious smile. We spent $22 for lunch and were stuffed. The sign says open from 10:30 am till we run out, which is a good indication of how popular this place is. We arrived at lunch and there were already a few people waiting in line. The food will not disappoint and you will be supporting a great local business. Eat here, you won’t be sorry. PS this is a takeout only window. Enjoy!

Delicious California rolls. The poke poke bowl (tuna, salmon combo) was simple and fresh. The salmon had a great mouthfeel, the tuna was just ok. The service is prompt and the shop owner is very friendly. Some of the more popular items sell out early in the day - call in advance to avoid disappointment and waiting.
Before Poke bowls were trending, Yoshino was here! The OG poke bowls in Carlsbad. I come here often to grab some sushi rolls and a poke bowl before heading to the beach. They have the best service and unbelievable value for what you get. Definitely recommend!
