Love the people who work there and most of the customers are friends of mine. What's not to love. It's damn near like "Cheers".
Local beer and wine pub with the famous $1 train beer. Long skinny bar frequented by locals. Friendly place.

Just a tiny pug that is a long time staple in Carlsbad. Beers relatively cheap for the area with a friendly vibe. Bonus $2 beers everytime train goes by.
Super homey, quirky, awesome establishment. I had been coming to Carlsbad for around a year before actually stepping foot inside Village Pub, and boy was that wasted time! One of the best places in Carlsbad, hands down.
