My husband and I had a lovely dinner for our 50th Wedding Anniversary in the outside dining area. The waiter was very attentive and made some wonderful suggestions. We will certainly return again.

Great food great drinks excellent attentive service. Definitely would go back.

Excellent, attentive service. Food very mediocre and very pricey. I mean, $5 for extra marinara for the chicken Parmesan that you are already charging $40 for??!! Hmmmmm. Wouldn’t go back.

We went to Vigilucci's for my husbands birthday. Loved it!! The grilled artichoke antipasti is to die for and the pasta is fresh and delicious.

Great Italian Theo the waiter was very good The experience was great and the food is really great The braised short rib raviolis and spaghetti carbonara was the the best I'm coming back

Theo our waiter was excellent, food was amazing. The only thing that disappointed me was my first choice was eggplant Parmesan and they were out of it! Otherwise it was an amazing birthday dinner for me!!

We had another amazing anniversary dinner at Vigilucci's Cucina Italiana! This is our 3rd year celebrating our anniversary there and we will for sure be going again in future years

Always delicious food & excellent servers.

Friday night in Carlsbad is fun. A nice dinner enjoying a couple of cocktails or wine was excellent. Service from the host to the entire wait staff were excellent. There is an authentic Italian customer service feel, which is appreciated. Overall, I would recommend to my friends.

We love Vigliucci's and returned for a dinner in which we treated another couple who were are real estate brokers. Food and service were out of this world, as usual. We do have two complaints: the waiter did not inform our friend of the cost of his "special steak". We did not ask because we did not want to have our friends think we are "cheap". Our guest didn't want to ask because he would have been embarrassed to stress us. It tuned out to be $ 80!!!! I have never heard of such a thing! $ 70 is the highest I have seen at the finest steakhouses. Then of course we realized (too late) that most servers will quote you the price for a special. So we had to swallow our pride and choke on that price. The next concealment was when we told our server we generally like to have the pasta dish first (just like in Italy), our server said he could certainly serve those to us first, followed by the veal course. Later we realized we were charged an "extra plate charge"!! Perhsps this was shown in tiny print on your menu, but neither my wife nor I noticed it. The total bill was over $ 300, and we left a $ 50 tip on top of that! I even shook hands with our server when we left. We would not have complained at that price IF we had known about the real costs. We are NOT "cheap", but we do feel we were "sandbagged", and now have second thoughts about returning. We are still recommending it, but with this warning.
