Lively restaurant and bar (live music!) with tasty food. The nachos were great and I really liked the Ribs in the Bag.
Great staff, had a good time! The food tasted excellent! We got the avocado burger and chicken fajitas. Clean bathrooms. Lots of inside and outside seating.
Great neighborhood bar. Lively crowd even on a Tueaday night, a live band playing and some outdoors fireplaces make this the only option to go out and have a few drinks in Carlsbad.

We went for our first visit after walking along the beach. The outdoor music gets 5 stars. The friendliness of staff get 5 stars. Overall experience is barely a 3. Staffing was a challenge and the food was “okay”. The gelato next door was way more impressive…
Googled live music in Carlsbad, CA and up popped this place. Radio 80's was playing and that was right up my alley. Not only was the food wonderful, but the band was rocking. The place was packed and that is always a good sign. You won't find any gals dancing on the bar, but you will find yourself having a blast from the 80's past! Check it out!
Had a great time for brunch.Surrounding brunch places had at least an hour wait.The Coyote had a lot of seating outside available.Food was tasty. Staff was great.
One of the local place for music in Carlsbad! Bands are decent and entertaining, lots of dancing and happy people at a nice outdoor space ??. Ambiance with outdoor fires during cold days are lovely! Food is not the most delicious but some items are ok given entertainment. Service is ok I think due to busy nights servers don’t smile much ( maybe something to change ?) .
Sat at bar, bartenders are good and very organized. They worked well together like a well oiled machine, even when other staff came in, they worked seamlessly together! Kitchen was quick with the food. Good selection of beer and cocktails. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Also good music on the outdoor patio. If looking for cold drinks and hot music, their patio with the fire pits, is probably the best in the Village!
