Giving it 3 stars because the burger was a bit undercooked...the service was great but the food was mediocre for the price...I don't think I'll be visiting here again
In honor of the college commencements that will soon be taking place, our Review Team crafted their comments related to their visit to Shake Shack through that lens. If @shakeshack_usa were to be striding to “Pomp and Circumstance”soon, they would be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Shakes. While they clearly took some courses in the subject area of Burgers, their diploma would only reflect a Minor in this discipline. As for their study habits in the field of French Fries, sadly their diploma would reflect no significant achievement in this area and their transcript would reflect a single elective course on this subject that was taken (at their insistence) on a Pass/Fail basis. (They passed, but not by a lot.)Our Team departed struggling with a sense of dejection and longing, but soon identified a corrective remedy. Stay tuned for that…And that’s…Henry’s Take. @henrystake
Everything tasted great but Jasmine really made this experience special. I would never expect the service I received at a common burger joint. Jasmine was constantly checking on what tables needed as if it was a fine dining restaurant. My wife and I will be coming back specially because of the full customer service experience provided by her.
Tried for the first time. Asked for no pink in my burger, sadly got a very pink burger. Also disappointed a better burger joint didn’t go in to this center. I would like the center to do well but the burger also tasted like a cheap gas station burger. I didn’t eat it and won’t be back cheap fries too.
Good vibe, clean place and conscious staff, and the burgers taste great, remind me of Disney's Country Bear Gymborry grill of old. Fries use some kind of vegetable oil that detracts from the taste, they could be so much better with avocado, olive or safflower oil. Love that you can order and pay on screens, makes the experience a lot better. They even have children play mounds outside which is good if you bring children. Recommend!
A good, clean location with a fantastic staff. I stopped by for a burger and cheese fries, both were tasty. A staff member named Doran was a Rockstar and giving Michelin Star service...seriously, this guy is incredible at his job.
Arrived when the website said it was ready, but I guess someone else took my burger. The first gentleman said they were still making it... It never came. I ordered chicken sandwiches while I was there and those came.. but still no burger.The gentleman at the counter advised they would make me another burger and was unsure of what happened. He asked me if my name was "Kristen" to which I replied "Kristine." And he said he would expedite my order to which I greatly appreciated and thanked him.10 minutes later there's an order out calling for the name Chris.. and I think it's someone else's order,l since that name is a common male name. I figured they were busy.. but people kept coming and going...I finally confirmed it was the burger I ordered... The gentleman who put in my order for me didn't let me know it was mine and they kept calling the name "Chris."I was here for well over 30 minutes for very few items, not the time taken before I arrived to order. My burger was too salty ans the chicken sandwiches were not bad, real breast, good thickness.. 1 star for the experience I don't want again.
Dorian, he made the entire experience. The lines are absolutely atrocious however this man’s energy is unmatched. He knows customer service through and through. He kindly greets every customer with a smile you can see through his mask. Customers were even coming in remembering him for his energy because he treats every customer with the same kindness. He even offered water to those who were waiting for their orders among all the chaos. He doesn’t need to do this however he does so out the kindness of his heart. Love the positivity, love the customer service. You need to hire this man as a customer service trainer/manager. This man will go very far with the positive attitude and energy. Thanks homie. You changed the whole experience for the better. I even had to ask a coworker of yours for your name because just 5min waiting I knew he deserved recognition. Bless you mate. Keep up the good work man. You are appreciated. Just wanted you to know!
I've been to the original Shake Shack at Madison Square Park in NYC and was blown away by how delicious a simple basic hamburger can be. It's been a long time since then so I can't remember the flavors enough to do a true comparison here, but this new Carlsbad location seems to have it right. The burgers are absolutely delicious and the fries are great. You can get any variety of burger type, like at any burger place, but I think Shake Shack shines best when you just taste their regular basic hamburger with the basic be fixings. SS does a simple burger perfectly without overdoing it and going simple allows you to taste all the flavors they somehow pack into their delicious patties. I'm a huge fan. This place does burgers right, no question.
I have heard about S.S. and I am glad they open near me. I tried Smoke shake burger. I love little spicy sauce. Size of burger is perfect for me.I sat outside patio enjoy nice sun.
