Here is the Mahi fish I found in my taco today. It’s tasteless, overcooked, and impossible to tell what type of fish. It’s literally 1/4” to 3/8” thick and obviously overcooked as well as being physically on the small side.both tacos were the same. I was hungry and tried to eat this and managed to eat most but had to break apart by hand. Still so chewy, basically just swallowed pieces but one part was so leathery tuff I couldn’t break apart by hand so of course it wasn’t eaten. Been going to Rubios since the Pacific Beach location when they first started. The experience is definitely not the same but changes do happen. This is a very sad example of what they’re resorting to for whatever reasonI’m curious if this is even Mahi so will provide the part not edible to whoever monitors such issues when I can locate appropriately.Verify what you’re getting before walking out with your take out.

Last night I went to eat with my husband and I got in line to order . When I was waiting to order i saw the cook at Menifee location putting so much oil. I couldn't even eat my tacos and beans where burnt I can't believe it I was throwing up at 5:28 and last night I was throwing up. husband's throwing up still I just can't believe it; I came all the way from Hemet to eat quality and I just got sick.. it's nasty oil .

The website for ordering is really misleading when you try to customize an item.Options appear with the subheading “only make a selection to remove”, but it’s very small and I guarantee most people would look past it, as I did. Then, when you make such a selection, a checkmark appears next to the ingredient, which to me, intuitively suggests it’s now a part of my meal. Additionally, a “remove” button appears alongside the ingredient, further reinforcing that this is part of my meal and said button can change that. All in all, this is how I ended up ordering the exact inverse of what my mom wanted. Since she has a food allergy, she couldn’t eat it.

The staff refused to serve me due to not wearing a mask. I do not blame the staff but I do blame Corporate for implementing this ridiculous mandate. It looks like they have lost my business and I will only go to businesses that do not support this mandate. Come on Rubios stand with other businesses or the government will continue to take away your rights and you will continue to lose business.

I went to the Rubio's Coastal Grill at 5781 E, Santa Ana Canyon Rd., Anaheim Hills, CA. on Tuesday, August. 24th and I had placed an order on-line for two prepaid Maui Mango style tacos and my pick up time was 1:05 pm. I asked the manager at 12:15 pm where my order was and he said wait a few seconds. I waited for another 13 mins. after that for him to hand me my food. I only have a 30 min. lunch so I received my food @ 1;28 pm which gave me 2 mins. to get back to work on time. I didn't even bother to ask for salsa because I was in a huge rush to get out of there! When I got back to work (late) because of the delay, my order was wrong! I didn't have the Maui/Mango style and I didn't have the right type of tortillas which should have been corn in lieu of flour. This same delay experience happened to me last week on August 19th my pick up time was for 12:24 pm (preordered/prepaid) and it wasn't ready until 12:55 pm. I am so very disappointed in the service of this location and they obviously need more hired help, and they need to quote longer wait times on-line because this is unprofessional and unacceptable :(.

50% of our order was wrong! Why are employees so incompetent these days? I repeated items multiple times! I ended up eating what they gave me anyways and it was terrible. I told my kids to never ask to go to Rubio's again.

They got my order wrong and charged me for items I didn't get. I have emailed them five times to ask what I can do to recoup my money and I have not received any response. I will never order from you again. I will

Horrible customer service from tyran. He us very unprofessional, nasty attitude. And he will leave you standing while he takes the person who walked in after you!

I love rubios but I’m so mad they removed the orange chipotle salad.

Rubio's is a quick place to get a bite, and while I'd call it fast food, the quality is anything but. All of the food is fresh and delicious, and there are many healthy options. You can even enjoy an alcoholic beverage with your Mexican meal, which is certainly atypical for this type of restaurant! Rubio's is a great place to eat and it won't break the budget. Highly recommended so we tried it - loved it. Would like to see one of these in Madrid, Spain! We tried the original and the special wild salmon. Both were delicious. Good amount of food. Good selection of beverages and additional free sauces.
