So delicious! Of course, we ordered too much food but it was great heated up this morning! Great birthday brunch! Awesome service, quality food, the butter was perfectly whipped for the flight pancakes we got. Highly recommend! ❤

This review is destined to mirror our meal, uninspired. I mean, it was…fine. Anything to “write home about?” Uh, no. Normally a visit such as this one does not warrant any review whatsoever on Henry’s Take. So why does this one? The name! Great food and excellent service
Very busy, expect a wait during peak times. Definitely worth the wait. Very fast and friendly staff. Amazing food options. Loved the French toast and eggs Benedict.
First and foremost - the service here is excellent. I made a mistake ordering and the servers were so awesome about correcting it quickly. This kind of service is rare and kind. A big thanks to you all. The food is good, with great variety and very good sized portions. Also, real maple syrup! They seem to listen to their customers, with some interesting additions to their menu. I can't wait to go back. Just to be clear that I don't think they're perfect - the "fresh squeezed" OJ was a disappointment (not bad) and we've stopped ordering the coffee since too often it has had a burnt taste. But I still like/love this place.
Had a great breakfast. Ordered the Pecan Dutch Baby as soon as we sat down so it would come out when the rest of the food arrived.
The food was so good, but the server was super salty. She didn't seem to want to deal with us at all, didn't check if we had one check or were splitting it, gave attitude when we asked for anything, and only changed her demeanor and tone once one of our party asked to speak to a manager. Another waitress who said the manager would be right out was clearly misinformed, because the manager was NOT right out, and immediately after is when our waitress changed her tune a bit.Overall, I wish this location had better service, because I loved the food. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone hoping for good service. It changed what should have been a lovely breakfast outing into a sour experience that ruined our Mothers Day breakfast out.
This is our second Richard Walker’s Pancake House we’ve been to and it is just as amazing as the downtown San Diego location. The coffee is so good we bought a half pound of beans to make at home. Also, our coffee cups never had a chance to be empty… anytime someone walked by with a pot, they stopped and topped us off. Our server was fantastic and the food was superb. We are already planning our next visit. We wish there was one in Orange County!
The Hash Browns were delicious! I would go back just to eat them again. They were nice and crispy and just perfect. The sausage is wonderful too. I will definitely order that again! I had it in a dish called "Pigs in a New Car" that had pancakes wrapped around the sausage. Yum.The omelette was fluffy and not quite what we expected. Nice fresh ingredients, just not my thing. They have so many things on the menu I want to try.The whole staff was great. Our server, Linda B, was really wonderful.They have such nice outdoor seating too. This was my first time trying this place, but it sure won't be the last. :)
