Not good.Tacos took 25 minutes, were dry and haphazardly thrown together. There was more flavor in the mayo sauce ( that we had to ask for because again super dry )then the entire taco.The corn in a cup is, burnt corn lime and cilantro.100% will not be coming back.
This place is located in the village. We went to try the $2 fish taco, the California Burrito, chips and salsa and the $8 skinny margarita, and beer. You order at the counter and they bring it to the table. There is no table service.The restaurant is tight...we had some difficulty finding seating, folks in wheelchairs and folks using strollers may have difficulty.Would definitely try again!
Good vibe.Food came out extremely quick. Service was friendly.I came for the California burrito. Was very very excited. The fries are super crispy and the nest was super tender.100% recommend.
Best tacos! I build my own on 3 flour tortillas and the portion size is just right. Don't pass on the chips and salsa- the chips are fresh, not greasy, and don't flake everywhere & the salsa has the perfect ratio of acid & heat :)
Easy ordering online and pickup. Got the fish taco, korean pork which turned out to be just carnitas and the corn in a cup. Food is decent. I liked the corn the best. Super busy area, parking in back. $15
Fantastic food (corn in a cup is not to be missed), dog-friendly, modern/casual atmosphere, tasty drinks & a nice M - F 3 - 5 p.m. happy hour…my new fave place in the Village!
I love this place! Its got great food and drinks. Easily would haven given it 5 stars before today but our bartender, Stephanie, was awful. No greeting when we sat down, we had to ask her to order after being there awhile even with it being very slow and when she did take it, she was so unwelcoming and acted put out that we were even there. I understand that we all have stuff going on but we also all (that are professional in any field) still show up and check our personal matters at the door and give our best to what we do and when that isn’t manageable we communicate with management to get support. I have no idea if that was even the case or if this is just typically her way of treating people. Super disappointing to have such a negative customer service experience in a space we usually really enjoy. I would not continue to have someone like this on my staff that takes away from the Pure Taco customer experience.
Love the vibes, food was good and service were friendly. Although, I can't say that they tasted anything Korean at all, but the flavours were very good, not greasy, tasty but not overwhelming bites. Definitely will come back more.
I thankfully “finally” dropped in to dine at this little delicious gem of a spot for tasty and fresh Mexican food where the staff was very accommodating with provisions and service. Everything from the margarita, chips and salsa, to the fresh and locally sourced greens, to the Cali burrito was spot on! Definitely worth a return and that says a lot for my expectations for standard of freshness and taste!
Super yummy and take out is fully labeled. Excited to have a new taco spot in town!!!
