Service not up to usual standardsâ¦.
The food was great. Our server was very nice. Only one issue: The hostess made us wait since we came about 10 minutes prior to our reservation. We were a party of 4. A party of two and a party of three with the same reservation time showed up after us and they were seated without a wait. When I asked about it no explanation was given.
Kids were running around tables and no one asked them to sit in their seats
Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at Ponto Lago. We were a table of 4 at 5:45 on a Saturday night. Half of the menu was unavailable. We came in expecting to try the raw section as well as the Saturday sucking pig and it was all unavailable. The food was just mediocre for the price. We are regulars at Ember & Rye and will continue to go there and skip Ponto Lago. Very disappointed.
Fabulous service! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful views.
Great food and good service. Jason took care of us. I would recommend outside seating.
Service was very good; however, food was mediocre. The suckling pig looked delicious on photo; however, need better execution on taste and flavor. The skin was too chewy and almost canât be eaten.
This restaurant in the Park Hyatt was off the chain. Food and service was outstanding. Thought I was in a Park Hyatt in Europe where they really know how to take you over the top. Canât wait to go back.
The food was fantastic - meats over wood fired grill were so prepared to perfect temperature and had great seasoning. The service was fantastic - attentive, made our dinner experience so enjoyable.
Anniversary dinner. Great service, great food. Resort dining can be expensive but this was worth it. We started with the ceviche trio, oysters, and finished by sharing the ribeye which was cooked perfectly (medium rare). There signature margarita was excellent and enjoyed a nice red blend with our steak.
