Love the fish and chips. Sadly they don’t do mushy peas like authentic f&c places, but they do a good combo of fish and chips. I also love their crab cakes but very hard to come by those since their kind of seasonal. The owners are amazingly kind and friendly folks. Their employees are attentive. A real gem in Carlsbad.
Fresh fish!!! Love the yellowtail, tuna , grilled shrimp, etc. Eat at the patio!
Been here twice in our SoCal vacation. First time for fabulous seafood tacos and fresh fish from the market. Bought 2 nights worth of fresh fish and both were awesome. Finished our hikes at Torrey Pines and decided to detour here for another couple meals. The yellowtail was just being added to the case and was so fresh. Tomorrow is the sea bass, can't wait! Great place for dine in and fresh catch. Super friendly service. Be sure to tip your fish monger
Used to be a loyal customer. Staff is repeatedly not adhering to current California mask mandate. I will not return until management enforces the mask mandate for their staff. Sorry Sam’s widow, you need to get tough on your staff. You ask your customers to do it, you need to ask your staff to do it too.
Great selection. Affordable price. Friendly service. Got takeout last night. We all love our fishes and shrimps. Fresh. The white clam chowder is wonderful! Many places I tried are salty or too much cream. Not this place. Love it at the first sip!

We just flew in from Colorado yesterday and it's been a long time since we've had good seafood. The fish tacos were really good, just wish we got hot sauce for them. But the cioppino was soooooo delicious!! I would order that every week if we moved back home here!
Pellys always has the very freshest fish... Never disappointed! Took a couple of friends who had never heard of it... They were impressed at how good everything looked! Carlsbads Fish Market!
Staff were really polite and helpful. Location is quiet and seating area is clean. The food was pretty decent - I’d say 4/5 but the staff, location and ambience bumped it up to a 5/5. If you like fish, this is the place to go!
