I really enjoyed my meal! I got the tofu kabob with their avocado salad and rice pilaf which is vegan! It's pretty reasonably priced given the portion size however, I gave them 3 stars because of service. The server was very kind but unfortunately made many mistakes. A coffee that was ordered never got served, and a dish that was ordered didn't come and was replaced by a dish that wasn't ordered. We let the server know and they brought out the kabob that was intially ordered. Then, dessert was ordered and they brought out some complementary ice cream for the birthday person, that we were celebrating that day. The problem was: the birthday ice cream was charged, the coffee that never got served was charged, the mess up of dishes (them giving us an additional dish we didn't order) was charged alongside the kabob that was ordered and they only waved the birthday ice cream and coffee in the end. The food and ambience are very enjoyable but I would recommend going to the Del Mar location over this one, based on the experience I had at this location. I understand things happen and it could've been a unique experience. I can't wholeheartedly recommend this location because of it though, so I would I keep that in mind if you're considering going to dinner here.
PKG is my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and experience. The falafels are AMAZING. Beautifully flavored, lightly crisped on the outside, tender on the inside. And it's nice to dine in their covered outdoor area that sits above the other shops. The waitress was very nice too.

Ordered the koobideh kabob and that's about all I got for $15.00.No bread, no rice just 1 beef kabob and a mostly raw quartered onion, tomato and some green pepper.Who really is going to eat a whole onion?So not worth the money, not worth your time or effort by any means.There are plenty of other kabob shops out there that deliver better quality, better taste and value.
I have been to panini kabob grill for years. Even before they open up their restaurants in San Diego. I can understand they increased the price of their menu now. But when I was there with a fiend a few weeks ago, my salad was dried, so I asked for more dressing. The server told me I need to pay 99 cents for it. I can’t believe it. I was so disappointed with the restaurant. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. I will not go back to the restaurant again, and I will make sure my friends aware of that too.
The bread that's used on the Panini sandwiches is possibly the best bread I've ever had at a restaurant. It's amazeballs.I had the chicken pesto panini and it was super good. The side salad was a solid basic Greek salad and was a generous size. Service was quick and friendly. The place is nice and very clean inside. I'm glad I live nearby I'll definitely be back.
Literally one of my fav restaurants. Their food is fresh, perfectly seasoned and whole foods cooked to perfection, The Caesar salad is sooo good as is their other one.. The name escapes me at the moment. The chicken kabob is a MUST!!! Also the sirloin kabab is delicious. For those on Keto or carb sparing diets get the combo chicken sirloin kabob and ask them them substitute salad for the rice.. they are happy to do it. The soups are good, but may be a bit experimental for an uninitiated tongue. Salmon kabob and steak are my least favs but i guess its all personal choice and taste. Hummus is great and so is the spicy hummus. I can't recommend it enough. Have highly enjoyed every meal from there.. They were open during the dark days of the pandemic and still delved top quality scrumptious food.
