Plan on Standing in line for 30 mins. They are very slow at taking orders. They also charge if you want a extra hot sauce. Not going back.
Great Mexican food! I got the monster burrito, i forgot the specific name, but it came with carne asada, French fries, hot Cheetos, and shredded cheese. The carne asada was tender, juicy... just perfect! Red salsa is good, not too spicy, and bonus: they have habanero salsa!! It tastes good and has a nice kick.
The first thing I am impressed with is the cleanliness. I enjoy walking into a restaurant that the effort have been put in to make it clean. The standout was the tables, yes they were all clean, the arrangement directed the customers to go to the order desk without them ever knowing it. The decor is nice and the person taking order at the counter was helpful, courteous and friendly. Now for the food. The menu is considerable for a fast food Mexican restaurant. I had a basic quesadilla with shrimp. The shrimp were tender and flavorful but the cheese did not have the kick I was looking for. But that is a personal preference. The salsa's (red and green) are a little to spicy for me but again it is a personal preference. Pricing for a shrimp quesadilla and medium drink was $15.00. Will go back to Los Primo's, absolutely.
Great food. Fast service. Awesome when you need to cater a family or friend party. Their platters are delicious & go far. Love Primos
The lunch line can be pretty long sometimes. Around dinner time this place almost seems dead. The menu can be a little difficult to read, so you may end up with a monster burrito without meaning to order it. I love the red salsa, carnitas burrito and street tacos. The California burrito is sometimes great and sometimes not because sometimes the fries are nice and crispy and sometimes they are just mush. I still like the place though.
Food was great, I got the tres amigos jr burrito but it didn't come with fries :( it was still good though but wish there was a way to report it through door dash.
This is for the Carlsbad Los Primos. Went there to pick up lunch for the family on Sunday afternoon MLK weekend.Spent close to $70 for burritos shrimp tacos and carne asada fries.Picked them up and brought them home. My burrito was so-so. Not warm at all. I actually didn’t finish it. The other burrito was the same. And also not finished. The shrimp tacos and carne asada fries were eaten up.Don’t know what is going on. I did see they are looking for cooks.Kojitas is open near me now so I think I’ll spend my money there.
Burritos have been getting smaller and smaller. Quality has gone down last 3-4 years, most noticeably last 12 months when they got new menu monitors.
Great food and staff is very polite and friendly.
Quick service and monster 619 was good and huge, had before the one in winchester area this one at carlsbad was way bigger.
