Ordered the Maui burger with turkey wrapped in lettuce. It was delicious, fresh, hot and did not take long to receive. The person that took my order provided excellent service both over the phone and in person.My only issue is with the two hostesses inside the restaurant both of whom completely ignored me when I entered the restaurant even though they were not assisting anyone after sitting in the previous family.The restaurant was not overly busy at the time.
Amazing food, Amazing staff, a must stop if upu are hungry, food the entire famcan enjoy. The truffle fries are awesome! we will be back.
Came in for dinner on Saturday night around 8pm. 4 adults and 2 kids. Got seated within 5 minutes. We sat down and waited for 25 minutes. Nobody greeted us or came to even get our drinks. We walked out because we were hungry and weren’t being served. We weren’t rude and didn’t complain, we just left. We were told to have a great rest of our night on our way out…..
The Burger was seasoned well and cooked well however they seemed to have gotten smaller. Perhaps a sign of the times!☹ The fries are fresh and good, you must try the island onions!
Mixed feelings here. First, I've been going to this location, for a couple of years now, but suddenly, having a group of 6 people doesn't meet their requirements to be allowed to have access to the larger corner booths they claim are reserved for groups of 7. WHAT???? Every time we were there, the restaurant was EMPTY so what's the problem to allow us to eat in comfort in these corner areas???? Customer Service/Satisfaction????Second, some waiters and waitresses are very attentive and efficient but others are very slow and not so attentive. Third, condiments like ketchup bottles provided are obviously EMPTY when brought to the table having me to get someone to replace these with full ones while my food is getting cold. Response time here is also slow. Fourth, attentiveness of staff to refill drinks and waters,again, slow. Food and atmosphere are pretty consistent and good. Prices ate competitive.Just be aware and you decide to dine here not.
I got the China Coast Salad & hubby got the Tiki Tenders, we LOVED them both !! The salad was something I will definitely return for again !! The service was excellent too !
Editing my review. Last night my wife and I stopped by for a second time to give Islands another shot. I really do love their food; some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. They are quite busy each time we’ve gone, and this time they were not too busy to give personal attention to us. The young woman on staff is probably one of the best waitresses we’ve had while eating out. She gave me and my wife everything we asked for, checked on us regularly, and we were out the door quickly like I prefer.I think I jumped the gun too quickly with my first review because really, since it’s the best burgers in town of course there’s gonna be times they’re overwhelmed and might miss the attentiveness sometimes. I also observed how staff treated other guests last night and they appeared to not only help in a timely professional manner but they also seemed to really love their job. I’ll be going back!
Do not believe the positive reviews for this location! Yuck gross! Food is awful old tomatoes with white specks! brown lettuce! Bread taste was awful the entire $15 burger was trashed! Staff is rude! Place is dirty! This islands location sucks!
Excellent service from host and server! Enjoyed our lunch but didn't know they started charging $1.50 for refill on fries.
