Awesome gelato, what a finding! Right in the heart of Carlsbad Business Center you may find authentic Italian gelato made by Italians. Now I have a reason to walk here during my lunch break. This one is not to be missed.
This is where they make the gelato being sold at the Carlsbad Village. I sat there for hours just intrigued by the attention and care everybody has in making this delicious dessert. I've never seen gelato making before, it's a labor intensive and loving technique. I signed up to take a class. Love in particular their Chocolate and Salted Caramel. Bravo!

This store was started up by the same group that started the gelato place in the Carlsbad Village Faire. It's a smaller venue styled like a Cafe where the other store is geared towards families with small children. The gelato is delish at both stores and the owner is a really nice gal from Italy. Everyone is friendly and happy.
This place is awesome! You can see the big gelato kitchen where they make it. They let you taste any flavor and you can go home with your freshly made gelato. The owners and gelato makers are from Italy, true legit gelato here. I will stop again.
Delicious! The mint isn't mint-FLAVORED, it's like gnawing leaves off the branches! Well, not exactly, but it's fresh & my absolute favorite.
My mom and I came to this place looking for a dessert option. It's in the food incubator of Carlsbad Gateway Center. I love buying breads, charcuterie and have coffee in the nearby businesses (Prager Bros, Angel Salumi and Leap Coffee). This is a great addition to this beautiful business area. They also organize gelato classes. I want to participate. Thank you GelatoLove!
Authentic gelato, used to be a lot better last time we were there last year, something is different. 2 stars for high price. Walk around the block to Handel's and get home made ice cream for a FRACTION of the price!
