I enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight at Campfire with my late wifeâs older daughter and husband visiting from Japan, one year after we all enjoyed a similar dinner at the sister restaurant June et Jolie, both in Carlsbad. The signature broccoli and peanut side order was actually the highlight of a meal that was so inventive in mixing exciting and creative tastes from start to finish. Service was outstanding, ambiance was a busy modern spacious setting. We understand the executive chef plans to open two more restaurants in Carlsbad as well.

Great food that you most likely wouldn't do at home. Campfire's effect is a good evening shared with friends trying new food combinations. Not cheap but a nice treat. Make reservations.
