Visiting Carlsbad on vacation so we selected Bologna Gourmet for dinner. My husband had the squid as an appetizer which was delicious. Bread was excellent. Both dishes for dinner were excellent. I highly recommend Bologna Gourmet for dinner.
The food was excellent! Service and staff were great. There was 1 waiter and 1 back waiter for the whole place, which is fairly small. But finishing up and getting the check took a bit of extra time. But overall they did a fantastic job.
Great food and Service Andrea is a most charming maitre d and waiter. Everyone is most accommodating. Try it youâll LOVE it.

Great meatball appetizer that we shared, delish entrees including a special of pasta with lentils, and pasta bolognese. The side salad was perfect for two. The wine offerings were reasonably priced as was the beer selection. The owner/manager was attentive and helpful. We wish more people would try this hidden gem.
