We were lucky to come on a night when a jazz quartet was playing. The food (branzino) was perfect. Service was excellent. But what made for a truly amazing meal was the live music. We felt like we were on a cruise. I understand you can check their website for music schedule.
This place has a really nice atmosphere. The food is good and the price seems to be right on point for the quality. Service has always been good. It has become one of our local favorites.
The experience was mediocre at best. We shared shisedo peppers, roasted Brussels sprouts & my wife had the Caesar salad and I the margarita flatbread. The Brussels we're ok, the peppers acidic and not cooked enough. The salad was drowning in dressing and cheese, and the flatbread has roasted garlic (margarita shouldn't), the sauce flavorless, and the dough was an afterthought as if they forgot to kneed, rest, proof and stretch it. The atnosphere was nice enough and the server was decent. All in all, a quite forgettable meal that was on the pricey side.
I would have gone for ten stars but their steak was just not up to par for the price. Great patio, live music, staff was great, and we did enjoy ourselves.
I have visited this restaurant many times, and every experience was great. I've sat at the bar for happy hour and received excellent craft cocktails, taken my wife there to enjoy the prime New York steak dinner with a bottle of wine, and have joined groups there to enjoy live jazz and drinks. On every visit the service, food and beverages were excellent. I highly recommend this place.
Pork chop and airline chicken breast were good. Rye Manhattan up was good. Beer and pinot noir by the glass enjoyed. Waiter was patient. Really loud music led to all tables shouting for diners to hear one another which increased the noise level. That's the drawback. Conversational dining is not the vibe here.
One of the best restaurants in the North County with both indoor and outdoor dining! Bar is really cool but outside dining when they have jazz music is probably the best experience. Mostly Italian type foods. A tad on the expensive side but we’ve never been disappointed with the food, drinks and service. Cool people watching too!
The first time we went to this restaurant, the food was very good. Several years later after Covid, we returned and were very disappointed. The outdoor patio was a nice touch but all 3 of us disliked our entrees. The smoked Margarita pizza was inedible. It tasted as if someone dropped it on the charcoals, and the other two entrees were cold. We won’t be back.
Food and service are great! I have been there 3 or 4 times and never disappointed. Love the atmosphere! Large restaurant both indoor and outdoor dinning options(with heaters). I would recommend giving it a try.
Dined here two times now. The food and cocktails have always been spot-on! Atmosphere is cozy and service is exceptional. Justin always makes us feel welcome! We’ll be back for happy hour soon! Cheers!
