One of the better thai places in Carlsbad. Generally healthier than the other places. Jungle curry and Pad Thai are recommended. Very friendly owner and host!
What’s the point of asking how you want the meat prepared if it doesn’t matter. This is medium rare. Also small appetizer and this dry dish total of $43? No thanks
We ordered three Pad Thai's and one fried rice. The noodles in Pad Thai were not fully cooked and the sauce was light. The fried rice was too salty. We ended up bringing everything to the hotel to eat later just to throw them all away. Two years ago the same foods we has were very good. I wonder what happened.
Great family owned Thai. All of our favorite dishes served here. Very personable and friendly. Take out available for covid or dine in, socially distanced tables. Highly recommend!!
BEWARE. True Thai Food/Foodie Enthusiast BEWARE. Food is absolutely dog water for the lack of a better description. We ordered Panang curry & Tom Yum, & pad see eww,… thai is my favorite and I have tried restaurants all across the states and this is by far sadly THEE worst thai food I have ever had. The reviews are absolutely misleading. The people in the restaurant besides us claimed to love the food, I now believe the “Carls” in the city are just very “bad” at eating food quality. Carlsbad do better foodies do better: Please do not go here, over priced and definitely not worth it. We are very sad, and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Waiter was not only rude and rushing us but tapping his foot for us to hurry. Didn’t want us asking questions. Lady in the back was nice, they should trade, maybe all this aggression will serve better in the kitchen.
Best Thai food in the area in my opinion. Food is fresh and flavorful! Staff is pleasant and attentive. 10/10.
This place might be nice but it’s super expensive! One order of pan woonsen was +$16. The guy who took my order was rude and rushed me. Once I got my order there was no sauce or utensils inside. He also said something in his language probably about me because. I do not recommend this place.
This place is a rip off !! The meal i got had very below average meal size ( the curry lunch special), below average noodles, and there were just a couple of pieces of chicken in the noodles. RIP OFF. I eat Thai food 3 to 4 days a week so I might have some idea of what I'm talking about.......
Delicious!!! My friend and I with our toddlers came in for dinner around 7pm on Sunday night. It was empty and we were the only ones there. Our service was quick, food was great quality, and the owner was attentive and super friendly. Our kids got cute kid plates which was a nice touch.It was a clean calm atmosphere.Thank you
Friendly staff and wonderfully fresh and tasty lunch. Will definitely be going back.
