We went for the $8 Burger Special (all day on Mondays). We had the special and some canned soda. The burgers were huge, lots of fresh toppings, and came with pickle on the side, and fries..which were delicious! They also have great ranch. As others have mentioned it is a concept tap house. You pour your own beer (wine, mead, seltzers) from an array of offerings. We aren't big drinkers but the concept is cool. They have indoor seating and covered outdoor seating. We noticed lots of T.V.s with sports playing, rock music (not too loud, which I appreciate), there also appeared to be outdoor heaters as well, which should be nice on cooler nights. The bar/restaurant had plenty of seating, both high/low tops and tables to accomodate larger groups. I would also agree that it appeared to be accessible. While we were there, I noticed a pretty mixed crowd, which included children, so, it is family friendly. The bathroom (ladies) bathroom was clean. The only things to note which might bother some folks is that there is no service. You order at the counter, the food is brought to you (no one checks back). There is usually free street parking with in a few blocks. We went around 3 pm and found parking, no problem. All in all- would go again.
The pour your own beer concept is fun. However, because you pour your own beer and order at the counter…. There is no service person to make sure your food is cooked properly or make sure you have everything you need and then they request a tip upon checkout. I asked 2 people for extra dressing and nobody brought it because there isn’t an actual server.
Really cool concept, you get a wristband and scan it to pour your own drinks. It lets you try out different types of beverages you wouldn't normally try. The food items are a little pricey, but we got the Monday special, the burger and fries for $8 and it was really good! I wouldn't pay the full price $18 bucks but the deal is worth it.
We stopped in here while watching and waiting for the Wednesday farmers market to open up. The concept of this place is very cool! You get a wristband, after giving them a credit card, and you pick the beer, wine, seltzer you want to enjoy by scanning your wristband. You pour how ever much you want. My husband loved the 'Fistfull of gummies' sour beer! They allow you 40oz to start. After you reach your 40 you just ask someone to add more to your band not difficult at all! My only small complaint is they only had 3 or 4 choices of wine for our friend that didn't drink beer!
Stopped in for lunch today while driving through the area. There were some interesting items on the menu. My wife ordered the smoked turkey sandwich and I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich. They don't have servers; you order at the stand and they bring it to you. They brought my wife's sandwich and told me that mine would be right out. About 10 minutes later, I went up and asked about my sandwich and she brought it out. The couple next to us also ordered teh caprese sandwich after we did, but were served before us. Both sandwiches were good, and at $17 per sandwich, it was a bit high. Overall, just an average place. Guess the beer selection is good
This place is AWESOME!!! Over 50 you pour taps. You get a key fob to tap on the beer or wine tap of choice. You pour how much you want to drink. The fob limits you to 40 oz. You could taste every tap if you want, up to 40 oz. total. SUPER AWESOME. Sooooo many different beers, ciders, seltzers, non alcoholic beers, wines to chose from. Location is great. Lots of tv's for sports, back area has a fire table and a great relaxing atmospher. Not sure if they offer this special every Monday, but they had $8 burger and fries.. SUPER DELISH and massive. Swung by 2 days in a row on our quick 1 nt trip to Carlsbad. Will FOR SURE go here again.
Amazing place to have drinks .
I’m a big fan of the serve your own beer/self serve tap concept - it lets you control exactly how much of each beer you get, so you can taste a bunch, and pour larger pours of the kinds you like. Good tap selection here with a lot of different styles, including some wines, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options. Didn’t get food here, but it looked good. This was my second time here but hopefully not the last!
Hard ten. Clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Amazing crowd. Very social. Lots of beer to choose from. Even if I was trying to find a flaw it will be very very impossible. Did I mention how amazing the people working there are?
We love it here!My friends and I always look forward to seeing the Barrel Crew every Tuesday for trivia night!! :)Ash, April, Tyler, Jordan, and Nash are the highlight of our week!
