*edit* taking a few stars off since the older lady made a fuss about asking for a to-go container.. very strange attitude over a container considering their prices are doubling every 6 months you would think they would be willing to give you a to-go container without questioning what you need it for and why. Weirdo. Definitely will re consider eating here as often. Bummer.Very yummy. Cash only but delicious food. Will be back
I'm giving a 4 star rating for their tacos, the tortillas are hand made and really good. Also the patio has a big fountain which is really nice but overall I'd say it's a 3.5 stars restaurant. Besides the the tacos the rest of the food it's ok but not great plus there's not much variety on the menu.I ordered the chicken fajitas torta which is a mexican sandwich and my husband order tacos. I was expecting the fajitas to have grilled peppers and onions, like fajitas usually do and the sandwich to be a chicken Philly style sandwich but that was not the case. The chicken was a bit dry and the fajitas were just chunks of meat with fajitas seasoning and nothing else. I won't order fajitas ever again but the tacos are worth going back for.
Best kept secret of the santa cruz/ capitola area. Best tortas in the county for sure, everything else is also very delicious. Fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. nothing is overly greasy. Their carnitas are the bomb. Its also cash only but dont let that discourage you.
Super yummy and fresh food, great handmade tortillas. Loved the salsa too! Love the outdoor patio with umbrellas and a nice fountain.
We had today me and my girlfriend tortes San Marcos and I take 2 taco one pastor one carnitas , the tortillas was made at moment and I was really surprise , the food is really good I’m really happy to eat over here
Have to say for an $11 burrito I dont get it.. No flavor very small and the tortilla was all dried out. And thought the side of hot sauce would at least be home made not from a bottle. I saw the reviews thought it had to be good. I've had a better burrito at Taco bell.
This cash-only, affordable place is the BEST taco joint in the Capitola/Santa Cruz area....and I have been to many many taco places. They use fresh ingredients and everything is so flavorful.
First time I went here my mind was blown by the delicious homemade tortillas and tacos. But I went again recently and it wasn’t nearly as good. Small outdoor seating area, so get there early if you’re with a group.
A off the beaten path , a real little gem ,mom and pop operation, with great handmade tortillas, and great home cooked taco, burritos .Mexican cuisine .Outdoor patio seating is pleasant ambience as well
So so good.First time last night.Easy parking and entrance.Beautiful courtyard was hosting a birthday party and it looked fun.Ventured past the revelers and entered the cozy yet clean indoors.Sweating available indoors and out for dining in.Friendliest owner lady (Lupita maybe? Trying to remember) speaking with me about her husband's fresh made daily torta rolls and tortillas.Mural on the wall of his hometown.Food made quickly and exactly as ordered.Delicious.Can't wait to eat more off that menu!Thank you Thank you Thank you.Cash only.
