It's unfortunate because the food has been really tasty. But had an experience where some else walked off with our order. When we came to pick it up we showed them our reciept and they said "oh well, that's been served already, we can't help you" "you need to take that up with door dash..??.. you need to place another order". When we had proof that said 'our pick up order was ready'..I feel they should have owned the flaws in their system and simply remade the order. This was just rude.
Great tacos. The al pastor was excellent and hot sauces delicious, as was the guacamole. The burrito was ok but the shrimp inside it also excellent. Prices were also very reasonable.

Best deal in town for awesome street style tacos! These tasty tacos will never treat you wrong or make promises they can't keep! The spices they use will dance a beautiful routine on your taste buds with each bite and the only regret you will have is not buying more then 2 tacos! Order ahead and beat the line, get the 2 for 5 dollar deal!One star short of 5 due to lack of napkins given and no dine in options (but I guess you can go eat by the beach). Also, the online ready time is not accurate and I highly recommend checking with them after 10mins. It told me my food would be 35mins before it was ready, but there was literally no line when I arrived just 10 min after ordering and my food was ready. Would have been a shame to eat these cold at 35min!

Only photo I took because we were too busy eating the amazing food. They also hooked it up with 2x of every salsa! Guac was chunky and fresh, not watery like others. Chips are thick, crispy, and warm. Ordered a carne asada mijo burrito + avocado and it was perfect, no gristle. I have tried MANY of the top Bay Area and Socal taquerias and this one might be the new favorite!
Best burritos I’ve had in the Santa Cruz area. Every once in a while I’ll go elsewhere just to make sure I’m not missing out. Every time I regret not sticking with Mijo’s. The sauces are awesome and food is so flavourful, perfect level of spice. As a vegetarian, I love the marinated portobello mushrooms options.
FRESH & DELICIOUS!! My wife & I were visiting Capitola for the first time & dreaming of an affordable, delicious meal to enjoy during what was shaping up to be a gorgeous beach sunset. We found Mijo’s on Google & saw the excellent reviews. It was perfect! Just a few steps away from the beach and the decor was very pleasant. As we stepped up to order takeout, the chef was excited to serve us and gave some helpful suggestions. I got the shrimp burrito & my wife got 2/5 tacos. We also had some fresh-made chips, salsa and fresh-made guacamole. Oh, and their salsa options are incredible! If you’re in Capitola & was some delicious Mexican takeout, we highly recommend Mijo’s Taqueria!
Most excellent veggie burrito! Great salsa. Well packaged for take out. Will recommend to friends and return when in the area.
Not a great experience. We ordered Vegetarian Taco and got mushroom served. The attendend did change it on pointing it out.The new one was also tasteless/ felt like money waste!
