I have lived in Santa Clara California for 18 years since I married an American. Many weekends we go to different areas of the bay, Capitola is one of my favorites, especially in summer. We go to this restaurant for lunch as soon as we arrive, the atmosphere is incredible. They have many tables inside a very spacious room, but I like the terrace facing , where there are always seagulls and other birds. Well behaved dogs are welcome =) the quality of the food is excellent: Is Californian & Mexican cuisine. I recommend start with or the calamari, so good. In winter the clam chowder is superb. If you like margaritas, the mango one is fantastic.The staff is friendly, professional and the service is fast.I highly recommend this place for a fun moment with good food.
Lively place for a meal by the water! We always enjoy sitting outside and looking at the colorful houses.Their flavored range of margaritas are all good! Tacos were great - Fish and Shrimp.
Haven’t been here in ages (like 15 years). Stopped by on a Saturday late afternoon around 2pm and it was super busy. Sat at the bar until our outdoor table was ready. Staff is extremely friendly from the hostesses to the bartenders to the wait staff. Talk about great customer service! We were lucky to have wonderful weather with seats overlooking the water. The margaritas were delish and our steak nachos were bomb. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. Note: parking can be a hassle but it’s worth it. ??
Best food and margaritas in town! love this place been coming here for 7 years, celebrated my first date with my fiancé here so now its a tradition to celebrate here every year and honestly the service has always been great and best margaritas I've ever tried, and views are beautiful, highly recommend!
Great time with great food. Don’t over looks the margarita menu they have variety. I like the mango.
Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful location. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We chose indoor because it was cool on the day we went but the view was amazing. The food is delicious and I highly recommend you order what their namesake is, a margarita! Any of them! They’re well made and strong! This is a perfect spot for lunch or dinner, whether you’re a tourist or a local, you’ll have a great time.
We were in CA visiting my mom and took a drive out to Capitola. We had lunch at Margaritaville and sat out on the patio. I had the Dungeness Crab Tostadas, my daughters both had the Baja Fish Tacos and my Mom had the Mussels. The weather, the view, the service and the food was all very good. If I could change one thing I would have asked that they leave off the chipotle crema on the tostadas. It was good but it overpowered the taste of the crab. Also, with the guacamole, it wasn't really needed. But, a great experience and super pleased.
This place was absolutely slammed when I went, yet I was able to get a table for 5 almost instantly. The staff was all very nice and were hustling to make sure all patrons were well cared for. The chips and salsa are some of the best around. The Margarita I had was fantastic. The food was high-quality and delicious.
Never been here before. It was nice. Staff was pleasant and professional. Our drinks were very good. We were told the menu has Venezuela vibe. It was very good. I gave 4 stars because it was so darn cold, I was very uncomfortable.
