It is beyond me how this place ever got a rating of more than one star. This is the kind of place that gives sushi a bad name. Even the edamame was over cooked and bad. The salmon and tuna were fresh and the green mussels were okay even though poorly prepared. Everything else was definitely not fresh. This was the worst sushi experience I've ever had and I've been eating sushi for more than 40 years.
The staff were friendly but I wasn’t very impressed by the food or prices. The sushi pieces had too much rice and wasabi and one of the rolls had too much liquid and was pretty saturated. The spicy tuna hand roll didn’t seem very fresh or well made. The bluefin was the best thing we tried.

Prices seemed to have gone up & that's okay, if only the quantity & quality hadn't gone down! Placed a to go order for dinner: Spicy Tuna Cut Rolls. There was more thinly shaved unknown type of veggie filler than there was spicy tuna in my rolls! They also weren't rolled properly & fell apart! Definitely not what I expected! Can't raise prices, cut back on product & slam it together & expect customers to come back! You had 4 customers at 2 tables not like you were overwhelmed with orders! Sushi chef was in the parking lot on his phone! I was so looking forward to my sushi dinner now I'm just Disappointed & Still kind of Hungry! This use to be a great sushi place! What Happened? ?
A good late night go-to
Ate hear just once late Saturday night, 2 weeks ago. A great adage is that they open late until midnight. The Staff is very friendly. The food was good. Though they did make one of our orders, an albacore cut roll overly saturated with sauce that caused the whole roll to be too mushy and inedible. Our waiter took it off our bill without a hassle. Otherwise all the other entrees were perfect in taste and texture. Also petit restaurant which is Great for Date Night.

I used to favor this place above all others (during pandemic lockdown). Looking back I realize now we were given special treatment because we came in large groups very late at night when the economy was struggling. So they gave us excellent treatment. Food was great , staff even better. But then I came on a regular nearly post pandemic evening for takeout. I ordered generously , the mussels, a hand roll, & my once favorite, the Japanese civic he. It was all awful. Every bit of it completely disappointing. 1st of all if you put all 3dishes together and weighed them it wouldn't even weigh as much as a can of soda , not even 12oz. Which makes the over $50 price a total rip off. The civic he wasn't even close to correct , nothing like the dish I ordered so many times when we came as a large group. And the hand roll was the size of finger food . Ridiculously small. Oh and worst of all I ordered extra ginger and what they did was charge me $2.40 for a huge pile of ginger in a separate to go box. What they thought anyone would do with all the ginger is anyone's guess. That all being said, I will not be returning to too sushi after experiencing how they treat normal customers. And when I called to complain they offered me nothing but an apology.if they knew I was one of the large group that kept their business afloat during the pandemic I'm sure I would have been treated much better. That's not how you give good business tho. Should be good all the time. Truly was an awful and disappointing experience not yo mention super expensive for next to nothing. Shame.
One of the best places to get sushi in the west valley, personal favorite is the tsunami roll and Viva Vegas roll if you are feeling spicy ?
