Great food, but my server yelled at me when I politely asked for an extra cracker w seeds in it, not sure name, but they are already prepared and only had to grab one more to put in bag. I usually go to Baba Sweets, but they don't have cracker? I was going to get dessert, but decided not to after the service. Everyone has good and bad days, but take it out on the ride people, I was kind and considerate.
The lunches at this place are stunningly good. Chapati bread comes straight out of the oven. One can choose from six or seven entrees, all vegan, all cooked to perfection. Basmati or yellow rice, and of course those pyramid shaped thingies stuffed with peas and potatoes and other veggies. Servers are very kind and accommodating. I'm really just scratching the surface of what they offer. The Masala Dosa looks awesome too. Amazing variety of products available. Oodles of yummy desserts. The cooks here are among the best in the business, everything done to a tee. It would behoove you to give it a try. You shan't be disappointed.
Very friendly and helpful staff here. Food is great. You will find all your Indian groceries here.
Reasonable variety of stuff Indian stuff available. Some of the stuff available are pulses, lentils, rice, grains, flours, pickles, oils, ghee, spices, tea, coffee, snacks, nuts, Ayurvedic medicines, sweets, butchery, canned food, etc.
Lately the food has been pretty good. Store items are still pricier but overall good experience.
?? INDIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - There are many locations of India Sweets & Spices around Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and into Orange County, but not all of these are made equal. In the Valley, there are only two, but the Canoga Park location is by far the best and might challenge for best in the Southland as well. They seem to cook much of their food, which is all vegetarian, like you might find from family members if you are lucky enough to have Indian relatives.
Nothing fancy here in terms of ambience but the place serves some great food. They've got a good outdoor dining area now as well. The samosas are top notch!
Amazing Indian food. Priced extremely well, portions are fantastic, quality is great. All vegetarian options which are delicious. Market is also really nice with amazing variety. Been going to this Indian market for its food for over a decade.
One stop shop for all your Indian groceries. Food is good and inexpensive too.
Went back here after 15 years to try out the Lunch, it still tastes delicious! I think 2 sides is better than 3 sides. Tip: Please avoid the Potatoes, the Saag Paneer is amazing!
