If you’re old enough to remember what Taco Bell USED to taste like, back in the 70’s & 80’s, when they were still using “real” meat & beans & cheese , then Taco Bravo will take you back to those “good ol’ days”.Even their homemade sauces (both the red taco sauce, & their delicious green sauce) taste like the OG Taco Bell sauces. & If you love cheese the way I do, you’ll be in 7th heaven, as they put about a half pound of fresh, shredded, mild cheddar on every item.Come on Tuesdays for $1.29 Tostadas, & Thursdays for $1.29 Tacos to REALLY get the most bang for your buck, but even on “regular” days, the prices are more than fair for the quality & quantity of food you get (their bean & cheese burritos for 3 bucks & change are HEAVY…).Everything is good here, from the nachos to the tacos to the burritos to the enchiladas & Chile verde. You literally cannot make a bad choice.My “go to” order is a Taco Delite (basically a “double decker” taco, with a crispy taco supreme- w/ sour cream & tomato- wrapped in a soft, refried bean covered flour tortilla) & a bean burrito w/ green sauce. True comfort food from a Bay Area original, always fresh & made to order. Yum!
5 stars because it’s a San Jose staple. Always better after 11pm. They put on cheese by the pound lol. For drunken, late night food, this is an easy 5 star
i just left Taco Brove without buying food after noticing one of your employees had a "Lets go Brandon" tee shirt. As you no this is an insult to the president of the US. It has no place in a work place. I am a long time customer, but will never go to your business again.
Tried this place years ago when I first moved to the area and thought it was terrible food that lacked good flavor/spice/life. After a couple of years of seeing crowds there, I thought maybe it was worth another shot. So I went again...and it was still terrible. Not sure why it's got good reviews or why people keep this place alive considering the good Mexican food options around here.
Came here on a Thursday to grab the $1.29 tacos. We came with a group and ordered 30. They were so quick, it was pretty incredible and the tacos were yummy for basic ground beef/cheese in a crunchy shell. Really can't beat it for a quick bite.
It's a must stop everytime I visit the area. So trashy and and oh so good!
The chicken bravo tacos are bomb. The come with tons of cheese it the best. There Tuesday and Thursday tosda and taco special are a great deal and hard to beat. Greta food great customer service ??
Good fast food style restaurant. Reminds me of how Taco Bell used to be when I was a kid. No item is skimpy. If your hungry and like nachos. I recommend the super nachos its big enough for two. I also love there hot sauce it really compliments the food. :)
Late night quality-Garbagesque but close to heart. Been a staple in the greater Campbell area for decades. Every night is something new, and this night they had only beef tacos.On a serious note: get the super toastada!
Taco is ok. It's not that great. The meat is cold like it's been sitting in the room temp for 10hrs. They have horrible customer service, just asking what other condiment can I put in the taco ( tomatoes, onions etc.) and the guy that works there gave me an attitude when he hands me my order. So in this case, I will never come back to this dump again. They don't deserve 4 stars at all.???
