I thought the food and service was great. However, I am concerned that one young woman was working there alone last night. I think for both safety issues and customer service, there should always be 2 people working. As I was in line, a couple came to the door and were acting odd, he wasn't coming in, she was standing in the door talking quietly with him, he shined a flashlight in the window, and overall just didn't feel right. This is when it really hit me that she should have someone with her. The couple continued to hang around outside, even though it was dark and cold. This Subway is kind of tucked in and dark. The store next to it is closed by then and no one would really notice if something happened unless they came in for service. I ended up staying for awhile so she wasn't alone in the store and called the police to do a drive-by.I truly hope management makes changes to their policies to make sure that all workers are treated respectfully, which includes safety and the ability to manage multiple customers at the same time.

Won’t provide you a cup to get water from the machine, citing city health department mandate to not allow the customers to touch the machine. I bought a sandwich and chips for my kid. Instead of soda, the kid wanted to drink water. I have never seen any restaurant refuse cups for water. What they are really doing is forcing you to buy unhealthy soda options or bottled water to maximize their profit. I hope Subway corporate makes note of this policy.

Doesn’t accept any discounts. Only one worker during peak lunch hours so you’re waiting in line for at least 20 minutes. Management/ owner needs to step it up.

This one does not give any discounts, very expensive. No promotion deals.

Won't let you eat inside despite advertising that you can. On the plus side, the workers at the Kirkwood Plaza Subway do a good job making my sandwiches and being friendly. On the minus side, Subway's Campbell and San Jose restaurants falsely advertise indoor dining. The Kirkwood Plaza Subway workers will not let you eat indoors. It's okay to not let people inside even after June 15, 2021, however it's illegal to falsely advertise otherwise. Subway marketing, be careful with your false claims! Sandwich eaters, go to a non Kirkwood Plaza location if you want to eat indoors, away from the 90-106 degree heat. The worker politely said, "We don't have the staff to clean the dining room so we can't let you eat inside."

One of the worst subway.. 100 degrees outside, no AC working long lines and owner refuse to give glass of water after ordering 3 subs

I like to get a veggie delete sandwich

They only had four choices of bread, no jalapeno cheddar, and no pepper jack cheese.

Good place for a quick lunch. ?

Consistently very slow to get food. At lunch there is just one person making sandwiches even with a line out the door. Also no Specials, always full price and the owner said Subway made them pull swiss cheese and milk off the menu. Owner is unpleasant.
