Ordered a 20 wing combo. Half boneless. Paid on app. Got there several minutes after it was to be ready and they couldn’t find the order. I showed them the order on my phone and the were confused, then said they found it and it would be 5 minutes. After 7 minutes they started asking me questions about the wing flavors which I clarified. Finally got the order after about 15 minutes and didn’t check in store out of frustration with the staff. Got home and realized it was not the combo order we placed, but just 20 boneless wings without sides or fries. Really disappointed in this service and will not be back. Not even an apology about the mishap. Usually when a service establishment makes a mistake they make up for it with a bit of an extra bonus. Really regret putting a tip on the payment. Be ware and check your order prior to leaving.
I ordered the Big Star fried chicken sandwich and the 12 piece bone in wings.The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy. Loved the crunch with soft bread.However, the wings were fried too long for my taste. It was too dry, even with the dipping sauce.Next time, I'll stick to the sandwiches.
Reasons I’m docking 2 stars is:-1: fries are always soggy by the time I eat at home!!! Always always! What’s the deal!? Other places seem to get this right and poor Starbird does not.-1: the Thai tenders sauce is off putting. I don’t know what it is. I love Thai and the flavors and spices but can’t take more than a bite anytime. I wish I remembered not to order it each time…The regular tenders are delicious and unlike the fries, remain crispy. Love the sauces too!!
Heck yes 5 stars!!!! +2Been seeing people at church bring Starbird Chicken to our fellowship Sunday so this Wednesday an opportunity came up to go.The restaurant was nice and clean, employee at the register was polite and got our orders correctly.looking at the menu I decided on the Chicken Cobb salad, it came in what’s best described as a bowl big enough for a dinosaur “seriously huge” with lots of tasty succulent fried chicken on top “not greasy”I ordered a drink as well, strawberry hibiscus iced tea “soooo good”Bottom line: good service, good prices, and darn good food. 3 “Yums up”
Are you looking for tasty chicken? This place has it. It's tasty. They also have tasty churros and tasty craft sodas. The tasty fries are real tasty. I get my chicken Nashville hot cuz it's a little tastier than the regular tasty chicken. The cole slaw is actually pretty tasty too.
I have been to this location couple of times , not so often since I live like 20 mins away from it , my favorite thing I get is the Nashville Hotbird Sandwich it's very tasty , fries are always fresh ! One thing that disappointed me was I got to experience the manager talking poorly to one of her workers , very upsetting !
I sincerely did not like this place. On one hand the burgers to go when we came home were water absorbed sponge. Then the price was over the limit.Even fries tasted mediocre.I know this place has many followers but there are many other options in neighborhood also.
Disclaimer: ordered on a Thurs night via Doordash. The food was overall decent, great flavor on the boneless wings and the torta sandwich was pretty good. I replaced the original fried chicken with a grilled chicken. Perhaps by virtue of not eating at the establishment and having the food served hot, this made the meal less pleasing.
Man! What a sandwich I had! And extra quick service. The touchscreen menu is convenient and easy. Staff was swift and nice. Food was tasty and fresh. No crowd. Clean and neat environment
