Mediocre 'Italian' dishes. I had the ravioli with bolognese sauce. The sauce tasted like it was from a can and the ravioli was mushy. Didn't want a dessert after that meal.Also, the place was so loud I couldn't hear my friend across the table from me. No ambiance what so ever.
Fairly average Italian American type of food, got pasta al pesto for my kid and i got scaloppine. The pasta was a bit overcooked, pesto not very flavorful and too oily. Scaloppine al marsala weirdly sweet. Don't expect "real" Italian food cause this ain't the place.
It was okay, I got the short rib bolegnese and the meat taste was overpowering. They give you a lot. My wife got the ravioli and she said it was fine. There are other Italian places in the San Jose area that have better tasting dishes. They charge a corkage fee and automatically charge a tip of 20% for a party of 6. The waitress wasn't superb, she didn't mention the specials.
We really like the fried artichokes and lasagna. We've also tried the linguini & clams (good, has red bell peppers), and tortellini with peas (also good, but I just personally prefer tortellini with red sauce). Takeout went smoothly.We've also been here before in person. Small-ish local restaurant.
Nice neighborhood place. My wife thought the spaghetti was average but the eggplant parmesan was superb. The gelato also helped make the outting.
Best Italian restaurant in town! Feel so lucky to live near this place. This is our family’s favorite special event restaurant.
Lovely, family owned restaurant with great service and excellent food. The garlic bread was warm and absolutely delicious. For entrees we had the lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. Both great portions and really delicious. The gelato was an excellent dessert to end the night with. I’m taking away one star just because we had to wait over an hour to get seats. I recommend going early as the wait can get really long.Would visit again.
This place makes some really good food, I got shrimp linguine and tried a red sauce ziti with the added meatball. Normally I’m not a fan of red sauce but really enjoyed both dishes. Would definitely come back again!
This place was awesome. Came in toward closing and they were still super friendly. We got the Udon Deluxe, which had pork, shrimp tempura, the works. So, so good. Will definitely come back!
picked up some takeout here for the family. we had three pastas (meat ravioli with bolognese sauce, linguini fruti di mare and linguini with grilled jumbo shrimp). very solid fare and has a great neighborhood italian restaurant vibe.would repeat.
