Went for dinner, got busy very quickly. Service was good but would have been nicer if they checked in more often and brought bill on-time though they were quite busy. Nice to try multiple small plates. Really enjoyed the okonomiyaki fries, crisp and flavorful. BBB is greasy though very tasty. Garlic ribs was a miss for me. Hardly tasted garlic. Meat was soft but bland, most of the flavor was only in the outside dry coating. Garlic noodles was decent, had mild flavor. Next time, I'll get the KFC which is usually very good.
Tuna tacos were delicious, as was the kale salad. The Korean fried chicken is a must-have. Mac n cheese was really good and the mixed drinks were tasty. The aioli on the fritters was really good and the ribs have the perfect amount of crunch. Greta service, nice ambiance, and good pricing.
PAINFULLY SLOW table, food and drink service is what prevents me from giving this fun and unique restaurant the five stars it deserves. If you are looking for some interesting drinks and tapas style snacks, this is your place. Don’t come here if you expect your food and drink order to show up at your table in less than 15/20 minutes every single time.
Food was great just a bit on the pricier side for what you get.I was also a little surprised that they aren't able to make a latte or cappuccino.Service was friendly and we did enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant. Outdoor seating area is really nice as well.
Visited yesterday for lunch. We walked in with no reservation at about 11:40 and we were seated within ten minutes! Fantastic.Service was slow and the waitress was never visible. After sitting it was about 15 minutes before we were able to place our order. We had to flag someone down for togo boxes and our check. The food was good, but not great. The hamachi was cut in huge chunks, wish it was cut smaller into bite size pieces. Lobster dumplings were good. Tatertot poutine was good, but wish the curry was a bit thicker so that it would stick to the tatertots better. For some reason they delivered two services the korean fried chicken (kfc) instead of one.I think I will try this again, but for dinner or brunch. Lunch was underwhelming.
Yeah. I really don't like giving one star reviews. But the service and kitchen staff here are HORRENDOUS and the food was grossly under cooked twice. My sister, brother in law, the baby and I arrived at 10:45 and there wasn't a wait. However when we were ready to order We were ignored for like 10 minutes. Now there was a massive rush of people but we still had to flag her down. We got: 1 triple B (which came out so late that a different table got their EXACT SAME DISH FIRST and we waited an hour and the bacon was undercooked!) 1 loco moco (1/4 RAW and 3/4 done) 1 KFC 2 tater tot poutine. Our server even tried to tell us it's not raw but medium rare. Half was well done and 1/4 was raw. She also kept ignoring us. We had to ask the hostess to have our food sent back. On top of that a group of 4 got their food before we did and they showed up 30 min after! On the plus side. The Manager was nice and took off the two undercooked dishes. But the service and kitchen staff was one of the worst I have experienced. I'm actually not more around San Jose but drove up from LA for Memorial Day. Now I see why people have said this place has been going down hill. Basically I was so fed up I walked out and my family stayed. I had to get picked up down the street after they finished.
BEST bacon you will have in your entire life. Extremely tender and juicy, I still can’t get over it and wish I lived closer to go more often. We got the BBB appetizer (Bacon, Honey Butter, and Biscuits) and it blew me out of the water. Also had some of the chicken wings and they were just fantastic. Also had a very down to earth, cozy vibe that I love - didn’t even know it was a Michelin star restaurant until our friends told us. Great service as well, always attentive. Absolutely would go again and would give it more than 5 stars if I could!
This was my first dine-in experience since the pandemic started.Went here to meet one of my friends who I hadn't seen in over a year. The staff was courteous and guided us to our table. The food:1. BBB (Biscuit, Bacon and Honey Butter) - I really liked the bacon. It was thick cut and perfectly cooked. Goes well with the biscuit and butter.2. KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) - This had a nice crunchy texture to it. Sweet and Spicy.3. Salmon: Decent taste. It was garnished with pickled strawberries. We also had a bunch of light beers to go with the food. The service was a little bit slow but overall a really good experience. Would definitely visit again.
Always a delightful meal, great service, and interesting dishes. Their cocktail list is always fun and inventive, with neat themes and glassware. If you've never been get the BBB and the KFC.
Had my first dinner here ,was great ! Food was great and drinks too ! Also I was granted with some clams for free ! Good moments spent there ! Will be back soon !
