Good news to start off: the food that was given to us was pretty good. And now for the bad news: on one of the sandwiches they forgot half the ingredients, namely all the vegetables. Receipt in the picture to show there weren’t any modifications other than to add a sauce on the side. Ordered online for pickup so we didn’t realize something was wrong until we got home.

Bang Mi is quite tasty

I had Mendocino Farms sandwiches a few times during my visit in the Bay Area and what I loved about them was how consistent they were made each time, on top of being delicious!

This self described “sandwich market” started in LA and now has dozens of restaurants throughout California. They pride themselves on offering locally sourced, healthy ingredients and unique flavor combinations.Their Campbell location has a tiny cramped dining room so most people eat on the covered porch or at one of the handful of patio tables. It was a warm January day so my friend and I decided to have our lunch outside. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Unfortunately, our cashier must have been having a bad day because she wasn’t the least bit friendly or welcoming.I was in the mood for a sandwich so I chose the Farm Club. It’s a classic club (BLT & turkey) but with the addition of pickled red onions and avocado. It sure tasted fresh but the two slices of Mom’s whole wheat bread were so dry that they crumbled in my hands almost immediately. It was the first time I’ve ever had to eat most of my sandwich with a fork! I was also disappointed that there weren’t nearly as many slices of turkey or bacon as shown in the picture. I’ll go back but will definitely try something else next time. My friend’s Avocado & Quinoa salad was a huge mix of some of the healthiest and most interesting ingredients on the planet. He enjoyed it and said that he would order it again.“Mendo” is a nice spot if you’re looking for a fresher and more interesting take on the usual lunch fare. Prices are reasonable and the place is squeaky clean. If you have visitors from anywhere else in the country (or the world), take them here for an authentic and quirky California restaurant experience. Where else can you be greeted by a blue cow!

Healthy , fresh and fast. I love their summer corn sandwich, their taco salad! The only downside is they don’t know how to cook chicken, their chicken (in sandwich or salads) is weird flavorless colorless semi cooked so unless you like the raw taste of chicken skip it and try their pork instead.

Yes you don’t see any pictures of my foods because it was so good and I forgot to take a photoIt is expensive but fresh awesome qualityFor 3 salads I paid 50$I highly recommend modern Cesar saladAmazing staffLong linesBeautiful placeI liked the vibeI am pretty sure the sandwiches are amazing but the salad is pretty big and made me so fullThere was no space left for more foodI visited this San Jose and it was my first time trying this placeI wish we had one in SeattleHealthy for sure and light dressingI highly recommend add some fresh pepper if you like it spicyOther than that hands downDelicious

Thank you for the vegan choices on your menu! Very large servings kid friendly vegan friendly vegetarian friendly.

Get the curried couscous. It is hands down the best thing ever, also all the salads are amazing it’s hard to choose, the pesto one I just tried is a great addition!

Food is AWESOME! Had a craving and needed to go here. Will I be back there again after today? NO 100% no. I had something in my eye as I was entering (and trying to put my mask on). It was pretty obvious, glasses off looking down trying to see! But the server was freaking out about my mask. I get it, its covid. But when our area has 92% vaccine rate, should people be freaking out over people? I wasn't sneezing, I was trying to see! So disappointed. There was a kid behind us fighting the mask too! So sad, especially when people not even 5 feet away were without masks (eating), so clearly things are good enough around here to allow maskless indoor eating, just not if your in line with any problems. If you want nice people......go somewhere else.
