I went here with a group of friends and the staff was so friendly! The food was superb! I love sushi, and this place made it so tasty! This is my new favorite place for sushi! I love the atmosphere/ambience, here! I will definitely be coming back!
Have been to this place with my company for years. And hosted many dinner parties before the pandemic. Everything was fantastic. Not sure what happened but the recent experience in 2022 was very ok. Fish was fresh but very bland as if they had been sitting in water. The soy sauce was way too light for whatever reason, almost tastes like adding water to regular soy sauce. I really loved this place before but now not planning to return any time soon.
This place blew us away! The service, timeliness, and atmosphere were impeccable. The wild salmon cooked roll was honestly the best I’ve ever had. My friend got miso, wakame salad and the lion king roll all of which were phenomenal. We will absolutely be coming back! So good!!!
The food was very good. I gave this restaurant 4 stars because the service was terrible. We waited 25 minutes for someone to come to our table to greet us and take our drink & appetizer order. That never happened. We had to go ask for them to send someone over. 30 minutes after we arrived someone finally came to our table. There was very little follow up throughout our meal for drink refills, etc. Maybe it was an off night so I'll give it another try in the future because I loved the food. The Spicy Tuna roll was delicious! Hoping for a better experience next time. If not, take out or delivery will be our choice going forward!
Absolutely delicious and fresh sushi and nigiri. Their array of rolls is well thought out and I had a hard time choosing. The decor also makes a nice experience.
Always an exquisite experience. Took my son and his partner for melt in your mouth sushi. Was not disappointed. Used to eat here once a week pre pandemic beforemoving. Very happy to see it hasn't changed a bit, was fully staffed and serving favorites. By far the best sushi in Campbell/Saratoga
Never had such a bad experience, you do the reservation, you get seated and placed an order (close $150) and wait like for more than hour and still no food, on the other side saw people coming and going out, done with their food. And an excuse given to us is still food is getting prepared. Worse experience we ever had!
This is my third visit to Furusato. I have been meaning to review this place after my first two visits but did not have the time. I guess the third time is a charm. We visited on a Friday night around 7 and surprisingly the restaurant was not crowded. The staff were very friendly and seated us immediately. Each one of them wore a mask. We ordered hot tea for drinks and ordered and tried few different rolls like Sushi boy, crazy hamachi, pink dragon, double spicy rainbow roll, sake nigiri. All of the rolls were delicious and wonderful. We also ordered Udon noodle bowl and tempura. The Udon was so so and not worth the $25 it costed. Though the price is a tad high for the rolls we ordered, the customer service and the ambience more than make up for it. I would definitely visit this place again and try their other rolls. If you are a sushi lover, this restaurant in the south bay is worth a try.
Love this place!! Fresh and always delicious food with a huge variety of options. Also love that they have Tatami rooms too. So fun!!
